Chapter 4: I know your name....

(Normal POV)

Light woke up once again and just like the morning before he sat on the edge of the bed and wrote down some names. Once he finished he hid his note book and climbed back into bed and pulled L close to his chest. A few moments later L woke up but didn't want to move he was comfortable where he was and he wanted this feeling to last forever, but Light saw that he was awake and sat up.
"Morning Ryuzaki"
"Morning Light-Kun" L pouted in discomfort as he felt colder without Light beside him.
"I just want to say... Thank you for last night" Light was shocked about L's sudden statement but replied.
"Its no problem...."
"Please don't tell anyone about it please"
"I wont" Light turned to him and stared into his dark grey orbs and smiled, it was a kind and caring smile not one of his usual cocky grins.
L smiled back and jumped out of the bed to unlock the chain so Light could get dressed (as usual).

(L's POV)
Light walked out of the room to get dressed as he usually did. I cant get my head around why Light helped me last night, does he really like me? Theres quite a lot of evidence to show it but i don't know for sure that he does. I walk over to the dest to grab my laptop so when Light comes back in we can head straight downstairs. He walked in and i chained him back up and we both walked out of the room to the main office. I felt something reach down my arm into a soft grip on my hand. I look down to see Lights hand intwined with mine. I look at his face and he starts going red, i blush a little and he lets go of my hand much to my Discomfort.

(Lights POV)
I let go of his hand. Why was i holding it in the first place!!! We continue to walk and i feel him intwine his hand in mine again. I go red and stare it him and he stared back. We stand there for a few seconds before i turn around and continue to walk down the hall towards the lift.
Why am I doing this? Why do i want to hold him in my arms and kiss him? Am i falling in love with my worst enemy? I leave my small trance and focus on my surroundings.
"Light-Kun"
"Yes Ryuzaki"
"I think we should talk a-about this" He motioned to our hands.
"What do you mean?"
"Why are we doing this? I shouldn't be holding hands with my suspect"
"I-" i was about to reply when Misa came into the hallway and ran up to me, clutching on my arm like her life depended on it.
"Hi Light! I thought i would find you here" her voice was so hight pitched i cant stand it.
"Can you please let go of my arm i think you dislocated it"
"Oh i'm sorry Light, here ill make it up to you" she walked of finally and left me and Ryuzaki alone, just what i needed.
We reached the lift and all went silent from there.

(Normal POV)
They both walked out of the lift and headed to their usual seats. Ryuk had left a few days ago or he wouldn't get any apples from Light. Everyone was doing their work when Masoda walked in.
"Guys Kira is making another public announcement! Quick turn it on!" They all run to L while he turned the broadcast on.
"Hello I am Kira" Light started to get angry at the thought of Misa making another announcement without his permission.
"L, i have found your real name you should receive a letter about now with your name written on it" L sat there his eyes open wide, he looked like he was about to cry. The letter had came but he was too scared to open it.
"I don't think i should kill you right now, i'm going to leave you alone for now. Ill give you about a moth to say goodbye to everything then you will die" The broadcast ended and L was shivering.

(Lights POV)
Finally L was going to die, but i don't want him to anymore. I cant look at him right now its jus filling my chest with regret. I walk up to him.
"Ryuzaki?" I was met with silence.
"Do you want to go upstairs?" He just nodded and stood up. We both walked to our room. Once we got there he started to cry and i pulled him over to the bed and lay him down.
I pulled him as close as i could to my chest and told him everything is going to be okay. I now know, I LOVE Ryuzaki!!

Now the next chapter might be the 'I Love You' chapter but i don't know yet.

L: Whats their opinion on it?

Light: I personally don't
