Chapter 6: The Second Kira!?

(L's POV)
Theres just this one thing I can't believe. I , L Lawliet am in love with Kira! This is something I wouldn't have even thought about. But yet it feels so right to love him, after all its just Light now as he gave up the note book just for me.
Its been a week since me and Light got together and its been amazing. We haven't told anyone yet but were closer to finding out who the second Kira is. We all believe its Misa so hopefully we will make an arrest soon. I cant help but keep replaying the broadcast in my head over and over. I only have a month and i'm dead. Theres only have two weeks left to live so we have to get the second Kira arrested as soon as possible! I don't want to kill Misa but if she is Kira then the only thing i can do is send her to her death.

At least Light will be happy.....

(Normal POV)
"Ryuzaki?" Light asked him while they where in the elevator.
"Yes?"
"You know when we get the second Kira" Light turned to face him looking deep into his dark eyes. "Will we tell everyone about us?"
"That decision is up to you lighty. I don't mind what you choose" L leaned up to Light and kissed him quickly before the lift opened up. Wateri was walking towards them in the hallway.
"Ah there you two are" he said clasping his hands and walking nearer to them.
"What might be the matter Wateri?" L asked walking up to him with Light by his side.
"We've found the second Kira! Come to the main room quick" they all speed walked/ ran to the main office room. They walked in to see Misa on the floor handcuffed with her eyes covered and a cloth in her mouth stopping her from talking.
"So Misa Amane was the second Kira all this time? I thought so. Where is her note book?"
"Here it is Ryuzaki" Masada said walking up to him and handing it over.
"Ah we should lock this up" L said with a tear in his eye.
"Are you okay Ryuzaki? Light said putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Yes i'm fine.."

~Time Skip~

The note book was locked up, Misa was in jail and was to be put to death the next morning. All was well.

For Now...

L and Light where upstairs talking and occasionally kissing each other.
"What was wrong downstairs a few hours ago?"
"I don't understand what you mean Lighty" L said looking at him with a confused face.
"When you had the note book in your hands, you looked like you where about to cry" Light said looking at him with comfort.
"Oh... I was just remembering that day...."
"You mean the day we argued on the rooftop"
"Yeah" L was about to cry again but Light pulled him in for a hug and stroked his raven hair calming him down. Light had no idea of what actually happened as he cant remember the death note, he only remembers getting into an argument with L.
"Hey the good thing is that we can tell everyone about us now" Light said with a big smile. L pulled him in for a kiss.
Masada was walking past their room and saw them kissing through the gap in the door.
"So Ryuzaki and Light are together then, i don't think the chief is going to be happy about this" he whispered to himself as he walked of wishing he had never saw.
L and Light parted then stared into each others eyes.
"Are you sure you want to do this Light-Kun? Because i can call a meeting right now if you like" He started rubbing circles on his back for comfort.
"Yes i'm sure"
"Okay i'll get Wateri to call everyone into the main office"

~Time Skip~

Everyone was in the main office room talking amongst themselves. L and Light where standing at the top of their stairs talking to each other and comforting one another.
"Are you sure your ready for this?"
"I will survive Ryuzaki" Light pecked his lips the. Started to walk downstairs to everyone else, L followed him (by this time the handcuffs where off!!) and slipped his hand in Lights.
Everyone stopped talking as they saw them both walk down hand in hand with smiles on their faces.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Sachiro Yagami, Lights father, demanded getting angrier and disgusted by the second.
"Dad im-"
"No son of mine is going to be GAY!! I wont allow it!!"
"Dad I-"
"No Light! -"
"Dad just shut up and listen to me for once in you life!" This shocked everyone and they all stood away from the scene battling it out in front of them. Ryuzaki held a firm grip on Lights hand showing him he was there for him.
"Dad i'm gay with Ryuzaki" his father was about to say something but Light interrupted. "And i don't care what you say"
"But son-"
"Don't 'But son' me! Cant you just be happy for me for once!" Light let go of L's hand and wrapped it around his waist. His dad couldn't take anymore so he stomped out of the building and hopefully back home.
Once he left everyone else walked up to them and congratulated them both. Soon everyone started to leave until it was just L and Light.
"I expect everyone to pack up tomorrow and head back home so we should do the same"
"Heh about that.... I don't think my dads ever going to let me back inside the house" L chuckled then pulled Light upstairs with him.
"You can stay with me if you like?"
"I would love that" he kissed L on the cheek and they walked up to the elevator waiting for it to come down.
Once it arrived they walked in and went up to their room. They got in, undressed, kissed each other goodnight then fell asleep intwined into each others arms and legs.

L: It was fine.

Light: I'm such a badass even without the note book, but i never knew my dad was homophobic!?

Ah well who cares?! Thats all part of the story! Anyway Misa will be included in the next chapter so look forward to that!

Light: *sarcastic yay*
