Chapter 17: Thanksgiving Day

Hello yall, I know I said that I was going to upload on Monday but I got busy so sorry. Anyways I was wandering how everyone is liking this story. I have not been getting a lot of comments for it and I just don't know. I may end up putting it on hold. I just don't know yet. Chapter 17: Thanksgiving Day

Jennifer's P.O.V.

Yeah, it is now Thanksgiving day and we have a lot of work to do. I mean a lot of cooking and making our house stink to us LOL. Anyways me and Edward are getting up from having fun all night long.

While me and Edward we having some fun I looked at the clock and it said five am. “Edward honey, I really, really hate to but we need to stop. I have to help start the cooking right now. If I don't get up Alice is going to be in here to pull us apart,” I told Edward. He then grunted and I knew we were don't. So he got off me and kissed me then we both went to the bathroom to get dressed for now. After our shower and a little more fun we got dressed and then Edward carried me downstairs. Dad, Jasper, and Emmett were watching some movie and I told them good morning. Then I left Edward in the living room so I can go help mom, Rose and Alice in the kitchen. When I got into the kitchen I saw them reading something, so I went to see what they were reading. When I saw what they were reading I just started to laugh. “Are yall kidding me. Yall don't know how to cook a turkey?” I asked them. They all three looked at me and shook their heads and I laughed.

Then I went in front of them and took the paper they were reading away. “OK girls, first set the ovens to 400 degrease and let them preheat. Then you reach into the turkey's butts and pull out the goody bag with the neck and stuff like that. Then you season the turkey's with sage, salt, and pepper. Then you put them in the roasting pans and cover them. And last but not least put them in the preheated ovens for six hours or until the turkey thing pops out,” I told them. We did what I told them and then all six turkey's were now cooking. I looked at the time and that took us an hour to do that so we all went to the living room with the guys because it is way to early for the other stuff. I went to Edward and he pulled me into his lap and we started to kiss some. Then I saw what they were watching Coneheads. “Oh man yall, I have not seen this movie in so long. I just love this movie. Hey when is the parade?” I asked. Then I saw Jasper look and its starts at eight am. “Cool, I can then get the kids up so they can see their first Thanksgiving parades,” I told them. We all just sat around talking and watching the movie.

It was almost eight am, so I got up and so did Alice and we went to the girls room and I saw Rose with us. She went to go wake up Bree. When I got to the girls room they looked so cute sleeping but I know they would love to see the Thanksgiving parade. I went to Nessie's bed and shook her a little and when she opened her eyes they were a bright blue color and I jumped a little. I looked at Alice and she had Maddy and Meka and their eyes looked just like Nessie. “Alice, put the girls down and go get Devon please,” I asked her. She then put them down on the bed and I sat with them till Alice brought a very tired looking Devon to their room. “What is wrong Jennifer?” “Well Devon, look at my babies,” I told him. He did and when he saw their eyes he just smiled. “Well girls, they are going to be coming into another power soon. So we just have to watch them and well see what they will do,” he told us. Then he looked at me and smiled at me. “Why are you smiling at me like you did the girls?” “Well Jennifer, go look in a mirror and see for yourself,” he told me. So I went to the girls bathroom and sure enough my eyes were a bright blue just like theirs.
