Chapter 18: A week till Christmas

Jennifer's P.O.V.

Well its been a few weeks since Thanksgiving and we are all doing fine. Me and the babies have not came into any new powers yet. My last power that came in is so hard to control right now. The family keeps telling Emmett to not make me mad but he don't listen and well he ends up on the floor in pain a lot. I thought I would make Rose mad but she just laughs with the family. She keeps telling Em “I told you so,” we would just laugh. Bree is doing really good also. Her eyes are almost gold color now and she just loves the babies. She is doing really good around our human family also. We all have been real busy the past few weeks getting ready for Christmas. The house is decorated very pretty and the babies are loving the tree. They try to take stuff from the tree but before they get to it me and Alice see it and we stop them.

Right now me and my little family is at our house watching TV when my phone started to ring. I looked at it and it was Alice,

“Hello Alice, what do you want sis?” I asked her.

“I am calling to see if you wanted to go Christmas shopping with me, mom, Rose, and Bree?” She asked me.

“Well yeah I guess, let me and Edward get the kids dressed then well be there in a little bit,” I told her.

“OK see you in a bit then,” she told me.

I hung up with her and I looked at the babies and I just stopped breathing. Edward heard this and did the same thing.

“Honey, what is it?” he asked me.

When he looked at me he gasped. I just knew what he saw.

“Honey, me and the babies are going to come into another power soon. Please get Devon over here now and I guess if his mom wants to she can come to,” I told him.

Before he could pick his phone up it started to ring. I saw who it was and he started to talk to Alice. They hung up and he looked at me.

“They are on their way now,” he told me.

“I had a feeling that they must have been. Lets get them outside and wait for them to come,” I told Edward.

Edward picked up two and I picked up one baby and we were outside in no time. I then started to feel something and I knew they would be to late.

“Edward, I am not sure about the babies but my power is coming and coming fast. So please, please stand back. I don't know if its a powerful power or a easy power,” I told him.
