Chapter 15: New Powers

Hello fans, I have no idea what I got myself into when I started the last chapter and I have had some major writers block. I am still not to sure what I am going to do but I guess I will let the fingers do all the typing and we will see lol. Thanks for reading. JenCullen28.

Chapter 15: New Powers

Devon's P.O.V.

When I got a call from Carlisle and he telling me about his daughter-in-law and his grand kids I knew then I will be leaving home to go help them with them. What they don't know is there is a rare vampire specie that have very strong and powerful powers and the Volturi are after us because of our powers. Yes I am one of the rare vampires that is also half human. But I know one thing Jennifer is a full blooded vampire and how she got the powers I am not to sure unless when she was giving the babies birth they gave her the DNA that makes us the way we are. So I am not to sure how Jennifer is going to be coming into these powers, I guess we will just have to wait and see. I told my family that I was moving to Forks to help the Cullen's with my kind and then I gave my mom a kiss and my brother a hug and my sister a kiss on the forehead and then I left to live with the Cullen's for who knows how long. I had to catch a plane from South America to Forks and wow I am not looking forward to that long plane ride.

Many hours later the plane landed in Seattle and I was looking for my ride. Carlisle told me there will be a car waiting for me to look for a sign that has my name on it. I was looking around and I found my name and I walked up to this guy. “Hello, my name is Devon Kallee,” I told him. “Hello, I am your cab guy and if you will follow me and we will get you to the Cullen place,” he told me. We went to get my bags and then we walked to the car. Got my stuff in and then we were off so I can meet people like me. The ride was long, I know we were in the car for an hour maybe two and then the guy pulled onto a driveway that was very hard to see and then it took awhile on there and then I noticed a clearing coming up and then there in the clearing was a big three story house. It was so big and beautiful and well I have never seen a house this big. I got out and grabbed my bags and then cab was off. I stood there for a minute and then I walked up the steps to the house and knocked on the door.

As I waited I looked around, this place is so beautiful and peaceful. Then the door opened up and there stood a guy with blond hair and yellow eyes. Yellow eyes, whats with that I wander. I will have to ask when I can. “Hello, my name is Devon Kallee and you are?” I asked the blond guy. “Hello, my name is Carlisle, I am the one you talk to on the phone. Come in and meet my family and the four you are here for,” Carlisle told me. I walked in and then we walked around this wall and there in the living room was his family. I gave everyone a smile and then I saw the babies and Jennifer, there eyes were glowing a bright ice blue and I knew then that they just changed. “Hey family, I would like to introduce everyone to Devon,” Carlisle told his family. “Hello Cullen family, like Carlisle told me my name is Devon and I am here to help yall with them four,” I said pointing at the babies and Jenifer. “What is wrong with me and my babies?” Jennifer asked me. “Well I can tell you this, everything is going to be just fine. I just have to help you four with you coming into your new powerful powers,” I told them. “Devon, will you have a seat here next to Jennifer and Edward?” Carlisle asked me. “Yes and I need to know if I can move in with yall, I need to be near them while they are changing?” I asked them. I went and to a seat and then Carlisle told me that is will be just fine to stay with them.

“Well, I guess I will start with introducing myself properly and then I will get to the point of what is wrong with your family. Like Carlisle said my name is Devon Kallee and I live in South America with my family. My mom, sister and brother are I guess what you call normal vampires they do not have what I have. I am 120 years old and also have vampire and human. Me and my family drink from humans to help us with our thirst and well I guess that is it about me. Now what me, the babies, and Jennifer are is a very rare and very strong and powerful vampire. They don't have a name for our kind and well Jennifer you are even more rare than me and the babies. See only half breads are this rare vampire and well to find out that you are what we are and being a full blooded vampire, well that is something I have not see or heard of,”. “So then what is going to happen to me and the babies?” she asked me. “Well, I know with the babies they will have what powers I have and that is I can read minds, I can make you freeze in one spot and not move until I let you, I can make you float and then throw you across lets say the yard and make you hit something very hard, hard enough to even break something on a full vampire. Lets see I can cause you pain with out touching you, I am a tracker, I can control the weather and the earth elements. Put it this way I am very strong and can burn you where you sit without even a thought of it. Now with Jennifer, you may have the same powers like us and they could be much stronger or well I just don't know. Like I said we will have to wait and see,” I told them.

We were talking for a long while and then I noticed that it was getting real late and then babies were asleep and I was felling very sleepy myself. “Well I want to tell you this one thing before I go to bed. The first few powers will be the non dangerous ones and then not long after that the others will come and that is where you will need me to help control them,” I told the family. “Devon, real quick before you go to bed. I know you noticed our eyes and you told us that you drink from humans well me and my family we don't drink from humans. We are what we call each other vegetarian vampires, we drink the blood form animals. So all we ask of you is when you go to hunt not to do it in this state, well not even to close. We have a shape shifting wolf pack about 15 minutes away and they protect this area and they will not hesitate on killing you if you go on there land or kill someone close in the state,” Carlisle told me. “OK I will respect your wishes and I may even try an animal to see what they taste like. Thank you for calling me and letting me stay with your family. Well I am going to turn in and I will see everyone in the morning,” I told them. “Let me show you to your room,” a small pixie girl told me. “OK thank you mam,”. “Call me Alice,” she told me. She showed me my room and then left me alone.

Jennifer's P.O.V.

When Alice took Devon to his room I was sitting there in Edward's lap thinking about what I was just told. Wow I am going to be a very powerful and strong vampire. I hope I don't hurt my family while I am coming into my powers. I have to call Tay and Jake and tell them what is going on with me and the babies. I got my phone and called them and I noticed the time and hung up before it could ring one time. “Honey, who were you going to call?” Edward asked me. “I was going to call Tay and Jake and tell them what is going on and then I looked at the time and its going on midnight and so I hung up before it could ring and wake them up,”. He then gave me a smile and then picked me up and carried me to our room and there we spent the rest of the night in each other arms and having some fun.
