Chapter 3

"Darling, tell us about your little date with, who was it, oh Soarin of the Wonderbolts." Rarity demanded, stretching out the word date. "Itwasnice." Rainbow stated. Rarity looked bored by Rainbow's quick words.
"Ok,itwas
superly,amazingly,awesome!" Rainbow yelled out frantically. Rarity smiled at Rainbow's nervous behavior. "Did you kiss?" Rarity interrogated. Rainbow looked from friend to friend, in an imbarrased blush. "I...uh...I..Yes we kissed!" Rainbow screamed really loudly. Rainbow's friends all gasped again. This time Twilight interrogated. "How did the kiss feel?" Rainbow looked at her friends. "It was soft, warm, and awesome!" Her friends heard enough. "You like him!" Rarity said enthusiastically. "Well duh." Rainbow dash started. "But it's more like I love him." Rainbow Dash decided that she was tired. "Well guys, I'm gonna go home for the night." Rainbow stated. Her friends nodded in agreement. It was pretty late. Rainbow flew home. Rainbow walked into the house closed the door, and walked to her bedroom up stairs. She crawled into bed and went to sleep.

The next day*
Rainbow woke with a start in a cold sweat, all of the sudden she started to cough. Rainbow was sick, she had somehow gotten the Pegasus Flu. She threw up in her toilet. Her face was pale. She decided to call Soarin. Soarin picked up his phone. "Hello?" Soarin asked. "Soar I need you to come over, I caught the flu, and I need somepony to take care of me." Rainbow's more than usual raspy voice sounded from the phone. Soarin rushed over to Rainbow's house to see the pale, cyan mare wrapped in three blankets, with a red nose. She sniffled. "Thanks for coming Soar, I know that you could be doing other things right now." Rainbow said quietly as if she lost her voice. Soarin flew over to her. "Aww Dash, I would rather be here helping you get better, than doing my job as a Wonderbolt." Soarin said sweetly. Rainbow hugged Soarin. "You're alot warmer than those blankets." Rainbow stated. Soarin blushed. Rainbow felt sick to her stomach. "I think I'm gonna be sick!" Rainbow yelled. She ran to her bathroom. Soarin walked in behind
her. "Let it out." Soarin said to Rainbow Dash while rubbing his hoof along her back. When Rainbow finished throwing up she looked at Soarin. "I don't feel like walking." Rainbow stated with a mischievous smile. Soarin sighed he was happy Rainbow was smiling. Soarin then picked her up bridal style, and flew her to bed. He later her down and kissed her gently on the forhead. Rainbow smiled blushed and drifted into sleep. Soarin smiled he loved Rainbow Dash more than anything.
