"What have you done young man?" Joey's eyes were stern as Wolf dropped his head.

Bundles of books and magazines were sprawled out across the floor with a very guilty Wolf sitting in the middle of the mess. The cabinet containing the books had fallen over too, inches away from his feet. Wolf whimpered in desperation for Joey not to be angry at him.

"Buddy, are you okay?" Joey sighed, leaning down beside his dog and patting him on the head.

Wold glanced as his paw and then back at Joey. Daniel kneeled down beside Wolf as well and gently took his paw into the palm of his hand.

"I don't think it's broken, just bruised," Daniel examined the whimpering dog's paw.

"Well Wolf you are very lucky but you are also a very bad boy!" Joey returned to his stern expression only for a brief second for he couldn't stay mad at him; he was just too cute. "Aw come here," Joey pulled Wolf up to his chest and Daniel wrapped his arms around the two of them. It was a really lovely family moment, the three of them embraced in a hug despite the aftermath of an explosion mess that surrounded them.

"Sh*t, what happened here?" David gawked entering the front door.

Joey's head shot up from their embrace to notice David standing at the doorway with a gym bag slung over his shoulder.

"Oh," Joey dropped his arms as Daniel did the same, "Well Mr Wolf here decided it would a good idea to knock over the cabinet," Joey eyed him a little so he knew he was still in trouble.

"Well then, I'm going to head upstairs to get changed," David turned on the spot and disappeared out of sight.

Joey sighed and moved over to lift up the cabinet to find the windows on the doors were cracked. He rubbed his hand over his face in frustration and began picking up the magazines and books as Daniel did the same.

"Oh well, it could be worse I guess," Daniel cut into the silence like a knife.

"Yeah I know, just a little frustrating, hopefully his paw won't hurt too much," Joey placed a pile of books into the cabinet, "Should we bandage it?" Joey asked as Daniel joined him at the cabinet.

"Hmmm, no I think he will be okay, it's only a bruise. I can tell it's not broken because he's still walking on it, see" Daniel pointed to Wolf who was already walking down the hallway out of sight. The two of them laughed because Wolf clearly only felt guilty for a brief moment. Soon enough all of the magazines and books were placed back in the cabinet, leaving Joey and Daniel to cuddle together on the couch.

"Next year will be a great year, I can feel it," Daniel stated, rubbing Joey's back.

Joey replied with a low hum, burying his head into Daniel's chest. Wolf jumped on the couch and lay next to them. It was once again like another family moment; it felt nice until David broke the silence causing Wolf to lazily move from the couch to another room.

"I'm going out, see you later," David called out.

"You just came back," Joey shouted back, sitting up slightly.

"Yeah well I'm going out again, bye" David's voice cut off abruptly, leaving the sound of breathing the only sound left in the room.

"Just us," Daniel whispered into Joey's ear.

Daniel continued to rub Joey's back as Joey faced him, sitting on his lap straddling him. Joey grinned as he placed his warm lips on Daniels. It quickly became passionate as Daniel moved his palms to his boyfriends' waist as Joey had his on Daniel's shoulders. Hot and wet their tongues collided with a fiery hunger as Daniel's hair was twisted, pulled and tugged causing him to release a low growl. The smirk across Joey's lips was intense enough to burn a hole through Daniels' head.
