The release date of Joey's book and music video was quickly approaching. They all made it home safely after filming and were thankful at the success of the whole project. Joey couldn't be happier with how it turned out, seeing the final finished and edited product made him want his birthday to arrive quicker. His birthday was to be the release date of the music video and the whole thought of it left Joey in a bundle of nerves. He wasn't sure how people would react. Would it all be sunshine's and rainbows? Or would it turn out to be an army of negativity? Joey was constantly finding himself easily distracted at the thought of it all. He would be doing a task of making a video or running some errands when he would suddenly find his mind had wandered off down a never ending path of uncertainty

Daniel always tried to reassure him that it would all go well, that everyone would love him and the music video. Joey was however very unsure of this, it was the process leading up to it all over again. He used to be so unsure about whether to actually publish his books or come out to his fans that he experience nervous break downs and anxiety attacks. It was happening all over again, only this time he didn't think he could reverse what has happened. He kept trying to tell himself that he could just not post the video, but then his book would be published. He thought he was so sure of himself this time, so ready. The real truth was he was just getting himself worked up. He was becoming exceedingly overwhelmed over something that will likely be positive. He had one terrible night especially where he was having an anxiety attack.

Joey had been sitting in the couch with Wolf, patting him and cuddling with him when Wolf decided eventually it was time to leave to sit somewhere else, Joey was left to play with his own thoughts. He sat on that couch for what seemed like hours, just staring at absolutely nothing. Anyone would think he was observing the plain white wall until it crumbled. The more his mind wandered the more his breath became laboured and shaky and his hands became excessively sweaty. His eyes painfully strained and his stomach did tricks of summersaults. Manically he ran through the house to the upper floor, gripping the hand basin with strong force. That's when he noticed his reflection. Red puffy eyes and red burning cheeks he hated his current appearance. He tugged harshly at his hair through all of his frustration and mixed emotions until his knees gave way forcing him to plummet to the cold tiled floor. He couldn't understand why he felt so upset, why his emotions were playing with him like this. He had been seeing a therapist ages ago but stopped going for a while because things were looking up. Suddenly his eyes caught the attention of the cabinet beside him. He had realised why his emotions were as heavy as stone... he forgot to take his medication.

It all happened in some strange flash. One minute he was rummaging carelessly through the cabinet and the next minute he held a small cylinder orange container. He vigorously shook the contents of the container into his hand letting several pills drop into his palm. He was just about ready to throw them down his throat, anything to let the pain slip away. The world seemed so colourless as if Joey was waiting for someone to colour in his picture. The chocolate haired man came rushing in, his voice had been echoing in the background the whole time, Joey had ignored it. Daniel slid to his side, grabbing Joey's wrists and staring helplessly into his eyes, searching for some kind of explanation. Daniel wrapped his arms around Joey's back and immediately Joey let tears pour onto Daniel's shirt. Daniel had found the colours and inked them back into Joey's life.

Daniel had realised what had happened the minute he noticed a small orange container rolling gently across the tiles. He held Joey even tighter not wanting to ever let go. He knew everything was going to be okay, he just had this inkling of a feeling that it would all work out. Maybe it was more hope than fact but Daniel had to hold onto something. They stayed in the same position until they realised the bathroom wasn't a place to stay forever. Daniel helped Joey to his feet; neither of them spoke a word. They sat on the edge of their bed, silence being the only noise they could hear because for Joey sometimes the quiet was the loudest and most irritating sound on earth.
