A/N: Hello there everyone! I know it has been a long time... too long, I hope you can find in your Janiel little loving hearts a place to forgive me (I was performing in a show). I also hope you're enjoying this story! Also thank you all so much for the 10k! It means so much to me and makes me so excited! If you ever need anyone to chat to I am always around (believe it or not I still exist online), just send me a pm. Have a great day/night, until next time, good damn bye!
Joey and Daniel released their hands and spun around simultaneously. The girl rapidly typed on her phone before running over, hoping to get a photo. "You two are so cute!" she held up her phone, showing a photo of them walking and holding hands. Their faces paled three shades whiter. Suddenly Joey's phone began erupting dinging sounds out of control.
"Uh, uh, we uh," Joey began stuttering.
"Can I get a photo?" the young girl asked gleefully.
"Uh yeah," quickly he took a photo with her and watched her skip off into the distance, waving her phone about as she went.
His stomach dropped, turned and did about 100 backflips. He couldn't seem to comprehend at that moment what was reality and what was fiction. Daniel held a similar look, worried what would happen, what people would say. Joey's phone continued to erupt with notifications. Nervously, he reached shakily into his pocket to retrieve his buzzing phone. With a gulp and a pat of reassurance on the back from Daniel, Joey opened his Twitter and checked his notifications. He hoped it was just a coincidence, that all of the commotion was from something else, something insignificant. He was however, wrong. Plastered to what seemed to be the whole of Twitter was the infamous picture taken by the random fan. If it was even possible Joey's stomach dropped even further, sinking deep into the ground.
Daniel much felt the same way, he had never been placed in a situation like it before. His hands began to tremble with the knowing fear that his life could (possibly) completely change from one photo. His gaze averted from the loosely clutched phone in Joey's hand to his eyes, noticing they had softened slightly. Confusion washed over Daniel as Joey began to chuckle lightly which soon altered into a laugh of hysteria.
"What are you laughing at?" Daniel asked bewildered, he thought Joey had finally lost it.
"This," Joey pointed to his phone, "all of it, it's quite hilarious really."
Daniel's expression remained puzzled as an eyebrow creeped up his forehead. "You're not upset?"
"Well I was at first," Joey began, "but then I realised how ridiculous the situation is. There is no point in crying about it, in fact," Joey began typing rapidly into his twitter. "Let's have a little bit of fun with it." A smirk arose on Joey's face and Daniel's face was soon to quickly mimic his expression. Joey replied to a comment of what one person said: @Graceffacutiepie I bet you anything they are dating
Which Joey replied with: @JoeyGraceffa Want to bet my comment will receive more likes than your tweet? =D
Joey chuckled in amusement as a few minutes passed with his phone slowly sending him Twitter notifications about likes on his comment. Daniel finally saw the amusement in the situation and decided to jump on board as well.
Daniel decided to reply to Joey's comment: @misterpreda Not if mine gets more likes than yours!
The two men continued with back and forth tweets, torturing the young hearts of the newly strongly devoted shippers. Joey and Daniel found complete amusement out of the situation and no longer felt worried about what would happen.
"They do say if you can't beat them, join them," Daniel chuckled, sliding an arm across Joey's waist.
Joey chuckled in response, slipping his phone back into his pocket. "Here's the thing, we can torment them, tease them and the whole time never mention if we are or aren't in a relationship."
