An Eventful Day

*Zoey's P.O.V*

Me and Tyler sat in silence waiting for Caleb and Niomi to get back.

"Caleb likes Niomi." Tyler said out of the blue.

"Niomi likes Caleb." I sighed at what was bound to come.

"You can't do anything about it though. " Tyler said, stating the obvious.

"I know but if he hurts her physically or mentally I swear, he won't live to see another day." I warned him as if he was Caleb himself.

"We brought food!" Caleb yelled holding up a bag full of tin foil.

Caleb started handing out the things wrapped in tin foil.

"Did you buy what i thought you brought?" I asked ripping open the wrapping.

"Yes! Burritos!" I squealed.

"I've never seen some one get so excited over a burrito." Tyler said opening his burrito as I took a big bite from mine, spilling some of the ingredients onto the towel which I just quickly flicked off.

"Zoey, you're sun burnt." Tyler clarified moving my hair of my shoulders to see red skin.

"I'll be fine." I argued, taking another bite into my already half eaten burrito.

"No Zoey, I think you should apply some more sunscreen." Niomi interrupted.

"I said I'm fine." I raised my voice as I was starting to get frustrated.

Every one sat in silence just eating their burritos.

"Caleb, what's your most embarrassing moment?" Niomi said breaking the silence.

"Nope, not saying." He shook his head but we just continued nagging him till he finally confessed.

"Okay, okay. My most embarrassing moment was about 2 years ago and I was walking around my house naked and I forgot to shut the blinds and I had a little girl living with her parents across from my room. Let's just say the girl got the 'talk' early." Caleb admitted as we all laughed.

"Okay Zoey, what about you, what's your most embarrassing moment?" Caleb asked scrunching up the tin foil and putting it in the plastic bag that it came in.

"Well mine would probably be when I first arrived here, Tyler walked in on me dancing like an idiot." I said, cringing.

"That wasn't embarrassing." Tyler assured while the other laughed.

"It was embarrassing to me." I said.

"No you had some really good dance moves, like this one." Tyler mimicked one of the worst moves I did and every one including me started laughing our butts off.

"Well I got to get going soon cause I have to go to work." Niomi said, standing up dusting the sand off of her legs.

"Can I drop you off?" Caleb asked and Niomi looked at my with concern and I just nodded in agreement. I'm her best friend, not her mother.

Niomi and Caleb left and me and Tyler decided that we wanted to go inside so we cleaned ourselves of and went inside.

Tyler went next door to shower while I used mine. Maybe Tyler and Niomi were right my sunburn hurts like hell.

I went downstairs to see Tyler on my couch flicking through channels.

"I'm sorry, I should have put sunscreen." I sulked sitting on the couch.

"I have some aloe vera ointment at my place, it will help." Tyler suggested and I nodded and added,

"Please, this sun burn feels like there is a fire on my shoulders." I sulked and laid down on my stomach.

Tyler went next door and came back a few minutes later with the ointment.

"Um, if you don't mind I need you to take your shirt off to get the sun burn on your back." Tyler said, awkwardly.

"It's fine." I smiled taking my shirt off. Tyler sat behind me.

"I'm just gonna unclip your bra but you don't need to take it off." Tyler said, gently unclipping my bra trying not to hurt my sunscreen.

He started rubbing in the ointment and and the sun burn started hurting less almost instantly and I couldn't stop a sigh escaping my lips.

It went quiet for a bit and Tyler just kept rubbing in the ointment until he said,

"I love you."
