Looks Are Deceiving

Chapter Two

My eyes opened to the brightness and it sting from the tears of last night, the first thing that popped into my head is that I have to ask Myra to be my friend and to help. I look at the time and jump out if bed rushing to get my clothes on. After I'm dressed u grab my bad and run downstairs. I open the front door and am about to leave when my mum sees me and tells my to get some breakfast. I sigh and roll my eyes but go to the kitchen and grab an apple. I ran out the door to get to school as fast as possible.

I got to school on time thankfully. I went to form and did the usual, go through the motions.
But lunch was different today, I sat with people at a table in the cafeteria, it was different. I told Myra at the start of lunch that I would like her help and to be her friend. So she told me to sit with her friends and herself, and I did. I didn't really speak but they all introduced themselves to me and they were all really nice, I was happy to have friends but I didn't know what to do so it was abit awkward. The rest of the day went by pretty fast and not much happened except the normal bullying. No big deal.

I got home early today and Luca wasn't home and Dad told me to go to my room to do my homework. And I did, then when I finished I grabbed my phone and went on the town website, its a bit like Facebook but for our town. I had the usual bullying shit. But I ignored that and saw I had a private message from Oskar. I clicked it open and we started talking
Oskar: Hi
Me:Hey
O: How are you?
M: Okay I guess, you?
O: pretty good, you didn't talk much at lunch today
M: I haven't had friends before so it was different and I'm not used to it.
O: that makes sense.
We talked for hours afterwards and I also talked to Myra. She was really nice I found out a lot about her, small things like, She likes Horses and Christina Agulira she is funny as well, I hope she stays my friend for a long time.

On March 1st things were looking better, I was home on time everyday and didn't get punished, home has been good, we had a actual family dinner with eating talking and smiles, genuine smiles. I was so happy because that hasn't happened in ages. School has been good too, I mean I'm still bullied but I have people who stick up for me and help me through the day. Myra, Kainda, Oskar and I have gotten really close lately and its cool, Kainda is really nice and I'm glad that she opened up to me because she is 'ducking' hilarious (inside joke).

On March 7th, Oskar, Kainda and I were on a group chat online and playing 'Truth is Dare' it was funny and a bit awkward. When it was Kainda turn... Let me show you.
Kainda: Amelia, Truth or Dare?
Me: Truth
Oskar: oh no
Kainda: Do you like Oskar?
Me: in what way?
Kainda: love
Oskar: why am I your friend again Kainda?
Kainda: because you love me answer the question Amelia
Me:... Yes...

I went on a private chat to Oskar
Me: hey???
Oscar: you like me?
Me: yes... Is it awkward now?
Oskar: .......
Me: will you go out with me?
Oskar: I tell you when we go to the movies
Me: when are we going to the movies?
Oskar: on Sunday. It will be Myra, Kainda, you and myself
