Chapter 17

"Monster!" Snapped a child as he pushed Cyrus to the ground. Cyrus landed in the snowy ground shivering a bit from the cold. Her red and silver hair fell over her eyes.

She had started at the ninja academy a while back, it was hell for her. She was hated by everyone once again and often teased and hurt by the others.

"Monster!" The boy reapted. "I don't know why my father told me not to be around you but it can't be for a bad reason!" He added kicking Cyrus.

Cyrus just endorsed the pain not really caring. She was covered in a torn up black coat with a white scarf and the bandages on on her arms and a eye patch over her right eye.

Cyrus said nothing and didn't react to the boy's words. He looked down at her with a angered look. "What?!" He yelled, "your not going to say anything?!" Cyrus said nothing.

The boy grinned his teeth and rose his fiat to hit the girl. Then in a flash Cyrus was back up holding a silver kuni that had cut the boy's hand that was now bleeding some.

The boy stumbled back holding his hand. "M-monster!" He yelled again then scrambled off still clutching his hand.

Cyrus looked down at the silver kuni in her hand. She didn't even have to make a hand sign this time. The kuni then disappeared and she dusted the snow off her coat. She then walks off as if nothing happened.

Cyrus opened her eyes being greeted by the sunlight. She had fallen asleep in a tree not felling like going back to where Deidara and Sasori were.

She say up ruffling up her hair before jumping down from the tree. She landed on the ground with out making a sound. She looked around the forest. She could sense someone nearby. She ignored it and started to walk through the forest to meet back up with her teammates.

As she walked she could sense the chakra following her up in the trees. Of they made a move she would make her move.

Cyrus kept on walking making sure to keep an eye on the chakra following her.

Then in a flash a lighting bolt shot at her with a loud cracking sound. Cyrus quickly made some hand signs and extended her hand up to the lighting bolt. A silver liquid came out from her hand and absorbed the lighting bolt.

The liquid disappears and Cyrus glares at the spot where the lighting had come from. A figure jumps out from the trees and lands a few feet in front of her.

She smiled a bit out of amusement. "Well well" she said. The shnobi that was standing in front of her was none other than Uchiha Sasuke. He looks much different than he did 2 years ago. He even carried a sword now.

The young Uchiha glared at Cyrus with his hand resting on his sword. "You won't be able to get the best of me now" he said in a cool voice.

Cyrus chuckled a bit. "I guess they never learn" she said. Sasuke's eyes then turned red. He now had the 3 dotted sharging, but it was no where near Itachi's.

"Now" he said drawing his sword. "You will tell me where Uchiha Itachi is" he said pointing his sword at her. He then dashed forward at Cyrus and swung his sword at her. Cyrus held up her arms as the blade hit her concealed scales making a loud clanking sound.

Startled, Sasuke jumped back making sure not to take his eyes off of her. Cyrus glared at him with her violet eye. "You want to find Itachi to kill him if I'm not mistaken? For revenge for your clan?" She said in a mocking tone get it was still cool and clean.

Sasuke just glared at her clinching his sword. Cyrus chuckled a bit, "I'll give you some advice" she said raising her hand a bit, "you are nowhere near his level. Even with that shariging of yours your nowhere near" she said with a harsh tone.

Sasuke clinched his sword even tighter. "Shut up" me mumbled. Cyrus smiled a bit in amusement, "did I piss you off?" She asked with her mocking tone. "I said shut up!" The Uchiha snapped making a few hand signs and holding out his hand. It soon lit up with the bright blue lighting of the Chidori.

He then dashed forward with much speed towards Cyrus. She quickly made a few hand signs and her hand was soon surrounded with her Dragon Claw jutsu.

She countered his attack with hers followed by a bright light. Cyrus took a few steps back as so did Sasuke. She looked down at her hand that had a few little burn marks from his Chidori. "I wasn't expecting to see Kakashi jutsu with you" she mumbled to herself.

"Tch" Sasuke spat holding up his sword. Cyrus looked back up meeting his gaze ready for his next attack. Though she then sensed another chakra.

"Sasuke-kun" rasped a voice. Both Sasuke and Cyrus turned to where the voice had come from. It was Orochimaru.

Sasuke glared at Orochimaru for a big before his shariging disappeared and he put away his sword.

Orochimaru jumped down from the tree that he stood on and landed next to Sasuke. He looked at Cyrus with a strange look in his snake like eyes. He then chuckled a bit.

"Now why would you be fighting the Silver Dragon of the Leaf, Sasuke-kun?" Orochimaru asked the Uchiha without leaving Cyrus' cold stare. Sasuke didn't say anything bit turned his back to Cyrus.

"It seems the Silver Dragon has joined the Akatuki" Orochimaru said pointing out the obvious. "You were probably my replacement. I bet Sasori was glade" he said with a sarcastic voice. He then turned to Sasuke. "Be best be going" he said looking over his shoulder at Cyrus. "Wouldn't want to piss off the dragon" he said brides jumping into the trees. Sasuke soon followed.

Cyrus waited for them to be a ways off before she continued on her way. She soon returned to where she had left Sasori and Deidara who were looking like they were waiting for her.

"Where did you run off to?" Deidara asked. "I ran into a damned snake and Uchiha" Cyrus growled.

"I'm guessing that'll be Orochimaru and Uchiha Sasuke" Deidara said. Cyrus nodded.

"You should of kill that damned snake" Sasori gripped who was already in his puppet.

The puppet creaked a bit as he moved. "We should get going" Sasori said. Cyrus nodded in agreement. There was another Akatuki meeting today.

The 3 Akatuki members then started to make there way off waiting for the right time for the meeting.

After a while the 3 stopped in a clearing in the woods. Cyrus looked around making sure she didn't look over any small chakra. She then sat down next to her teammates crossing her legs. "Let's just get this over with" she mumbled under her breath holding up her hand. She then closed her eyes and her mind was sent else where. When she opened them again she found herself along with the Akatuki members.

"Now" Pein said as the last of the members appeared. "Shall we get stated?"
