Chapter 2// Firts kiss

Destiny's POV

All I see is darkness but I here voices asking if I'm ok and and a voice saying I'm so freaking sorry over and over again. I'm cold and wet and I can't open my eyes.

"Dee-Dee wake up sweetie", I hear a woman say nicely and I feel a hand hold mine and I wrap my fingers around the hand.

"She's holding my hand back mom", a boy says.

"Destiny , destiny honey wake up it's ok", I hear the woman say and I slowly open my eyes to see Katie and Caleb with tears on his face.

I sit up and rub my eyes.

"What happened why am I wet?", I say I literally don't remember anything but jumping in the water.

"Caleb was being dumb and jumped on you babe I'm here I'm sorry", Dylan says.

"Don't say that dyl-", I begin but someone cuts me off.
"No he's right dee I'm retarded I'm so stupid God!!" Caleb says and let's go of my hand and runs off. I start to run after him but Dylan stops me.

"Baby where are you going he hurt you", he says and he holds my hands.

"No I know he didn't mean to just leave me alone Dylan ", I say but all of a sudden I feel my face burn.

Dylan slapped me across my right cheek.

I just run off and try to find Caleb.

Tears are coming down my face but I wipe them away, soon I find Caleb on the trampoline and I climb on and sit next to him.

"Hey Caleb", I say and lay next to him.

"Why are you here next to me I hurt you", Caleb says and cries more.

I hug him and wipe his tears away.

"Caleb I could never be mad at you and I know you didn't mean to hurt me so why are you upset?", I say and he looks down.

"I don't want to talk about it ", he says and looks at my cheek.

"Why is there a bruise on your cheek", he asks

Crap! there's a bruise Dylan hit me hard.
"Um I fell while trying to find you I tripped. Clumsy me!", I say in a shaky voice.

"Ok what ever you say ", he says and hugs me and I hug back.

"Hey mom and dad want to tell you something let's go inside", he says and grabs my hand and drags me inside.

"Hey guys are you ok sweetie ", Katie asked Caleb.

"Yeah I'm more than ok I'm great!", he says while still holding my hand he looks down at out intertwined hands then looks up to me.

I let go and smile.
"So what did you guys wanna tell me ", I say to Katie and Billy.

"Well we know how you are off of gymnastics cause of your injury...", Katie begins oh yeah I forgot I kinda sprained my ankle but it is better I just don't want to go back to gymnastics yet.

"Yes..", I say.

"Well we want you to come to The Bahamas with us to Annie and Hayley's meet! Only if you would like to your parents are ok with it.", she says excited.

"OF COURSE!!!!!", I squealed and hugged billy and Katie so tight.
They laughed and smiled while Annie and Hayley were hugging me as well.

"What about me ?"Caleb says and I laugh and run over to him and hug him and he hugs back. He whispered something in my ear tho so no one would hear.

"I need to talk to you in a minute ", I let go and nod and we all eat dinner and then while Annie And Hayley were watching a movie he pulled me in his room.

"What's up", I say but Caleb interrupts me.

"I know you didn't fall back there what happened why do you have such a big bruise?!", he says a little harshly but I know he is just worried.

"Woah calm down what do you mean I did fall " I say and try to walk away but he grabs me by the waist and pulls me close.
We are inches apart and my breathing quickens.

All of a sudden I feel Caleb's soft minty lips on my soft strawberry lips and our lips move in sinc. I pull away quickly.

"What did I just do!", I say and start crying.
That felt so wrong but so right at the same time.

"I'm sorry destiny but I like you and I've been wanting to do that for so long I'm sorry but please tell me what really happened.", Caleb says but comes over to me and holds both of my hands.

He sees my tears and wiped them away with is thumbs.

"Ok I'll tell you only cause I trust you, you are my best friend and I can trust you not to tell anyone about this ok", I say and smile at him.

"You can trust me", he says and smiles back but looking at my lips to my eyes to see when I'm gonna talk.

"Ok when I ran after you Dylan came after me and told me you were worth less and that I shouldn't run after you cause you "hurt" me and I said no and he slapped me and I just ran off.", I say and Caleb starts to get tense.

" that son of a bitch ", Caleb says and starts to push down stuff.

"Caleb language " I say but he just falls to the ground and I see a single tear go down his face.
"Nononono why are you crying ", I say and get in the floor with him.

"Cause you got hurt and I let that happen", he says and looks down.

"Caleb I love you", I say he looks up and just simply kisses my cheek. " I love you too Destiny but I better clean up", he says I nod and get up and help him up.

I walk towards the door but I hear him say my name.

"Destiny", he says

"Yes Caleb ", i say back

"You know that was my first kiss", he says and smiles I smile shocked.

"I'm glad it was with someone I truly care about", he says and I just smile and walk out of the room and down to Annie's room.

Annie was asleep in her bed so I just sleep on the palette Katie made for me and think to my self.

Boy am I in trouble.
