The Secret

Nick cringed slightly at my reaction to him. I took a breathe feeling my hands getting red. "Your everywhere I go! You follow me! And Why the heck did you grab me before lunch?! I don't even know you! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" My face got warm and red. "And what were you talking about when you said you know my secret?! WHAT SECRET?!" He looked at me for a moment as I stood there shaking in frustration that came out of no where.

"Calm down and then maybe we can talk." I leaned against the wall, arms crossed. He watched me silently with that knowing look that I hate. I took a deep breathe and nodded cooling myself down. "Okay, I'm calm."

He smiled alittle. I gasped alittle because that was the first time I had ever seen him smile. "Take a seat." I sat on the floor doing as he said.

I looked up at him silently, waiting. "Luna,What do you know about your mother?" My eyes got big at the question.

"My father told me that she didn't want me and left me with him. He told me that I was a mistake that she ran from." I sighed. "That's all I know."

Nick frowned looking at me closely. "I don't think you were a mistake at all Luna. Don't listen to your father."

I shrugged. "It doesn't matter anyways. What does the secret have to do with my mother?"

"You have powers Luna. I can feel them and so can you." I shook my head in disbelief. I've never told anyone but Ty about what I can do. I've hid them so well! I haven't used them since.....no don't think about that now!

"H-How.... W-Why... W-Who....." I searched for words as I looked at Nick.

He smiled. "By the way, your mother did want you. You were no mistake, trust me." I looked at him confused. "Who are you?"

He laughed. "I'm Nick. Now get up and lets go find your friends." I got us and did as I was told feeling awkward. 'What just happened?' My head spinned.
