Chapter 2: Home Sweet Home

Upon getting home, I put my keys in the front door and was immediately tackled by best friends. My parents were out of town to visit a few relatives for about 4 to 5 days, so I asked if I could invite a few of my friends.

"Ah! Bruh! Get off me!" I started laughing as I was being tickled. "Where have you been!?" Trish asked, sounding a lot like my mom now. "Ahaha! I *gasp* told you *gasp* where *gasp* I was *gasp* going!" "CAN YOU GUYS KEEP IT DOWN?!" shouted Nirvana from the living room. "Nah man! I WILL FOREVER BE LOUD!" screamed Trish. "'Ey Man! Shut the hell up!" shouted Taaliah.

I felt my phone ring in my pocket. I quickly tried to pull it out of my pocket and checked to see who it was... Unknown Number... Weird. I roughly stood up, knocking Trish off me. She fell on to the floor with a thud. "What the hell man!!!" "I'm sorry, I need to answer this." I pressed the button to accept the call and put my phone to my ear. "Hello? Who is this?" "H-hey, (Y-y/N) it's Marcel" "Marcel! Hi! How are you?" "I'm good. I just got home and wanted to make sure you got home safely," he said, saying the last part softly. "Yeah, I'm safe at home."

By now I realised that the house was really quiet. I didn't, however, realise that everyone was listening intently to my conversation. "(Y/N) pass the weed!!" My face began heating up "Oh my god...." "(Y/N). Where are you?" "I'm at home it's just that my dumb ass friends are here with me." I gave them all a look and they started laughing to themselves.

"Anyway," I said turning away from them, "What's up?" "Nothing much. Just wanted to make sure you were okay and ask if you're still up to playing video games." "Of course I'm still up to it!" "Great," I could literally see him smiling, "How about we all start playing around 3 p.m?" "That's perfect. Can't wait!"

I heard him laugh softly on the other end. "Alright. It was fun talking to you again. I guess I'll see you again tomorrow." "Alright, see you then!" "Oh, wait!" he said, just as I was about to end the call, "What's your gamer tag?", "It's (Y/G/T)." "Alright thanks... Bye!" I giggled at his excitment. "Bye!" I smiled as I ended the call and turned back around.

All my friends were staring at me. "What?" They all look at each other with smirks on their faces. "(Y/N) got a boyfriend! (Y/N) got a boyfriend!," they started singing. I could feel my face beginning to heat up again. "Awww. Is wittle ol' (Y/N) blushing?" "N-no. I'm just... Really hot... No wait... Tired... Yeah, just tired." I said blushing harder now.

They all grinned at each other. "No wonder you came home so late..." Andrea said, wiggling her eyebrows. "I-I didn't do anything... bad. I just went to the roller blading rink, remember?" "Mhmm, I'm sure..." "You guys suck," I said " We love you too (Y/N)," said Star.

We stood there for a few seconds until we all burst out laughing. "I think I'm gonna go to bed..." I said fake yawning. "Aw, come on! Stay up with us, pwease..." Alexis said, trying to give me puppy dog eyes. I laughed at her attempt. "Fine" "YAY!!" They all shouted. "You guys are so childish" I said laughing at them. "You are too!" said Nirvana. "Yeah, yeah. I know." I said grinning at them.
