Chapter 3: Our New Guest

A/N: I'm continuing from where I left off in the last chapter

"So what would you guys like to do?" I asked, walking to the lounge and sitting down on the couch, taking my shoes off and only leaving my socks on. "Well, we could have a pizza party?" Trish suggested. "Don't you think it's a little too late for a party now?" Andrea asked. Alexis then says while sulking playfully, "I think we should have brought food before we came here." We all mumbled our agreement. "How about we make cookies?" Taaliah asked. "I don't know how to bake..." Nirvana said, sulking. "I'm too lazy anyway" I said. "Well, what do we-" Star asked but got cut off by the doorbell.

Everyone looked at each other questioningly. "Did any of you invite someone over?" I asked. Eveyone shook their head and mumbled a 'no'. I tilted my head in confusion and stood up and walked to the door to check who it was. I walked quietly to the door and looked through hole. I couldn't make out the person's face but I could see they were carrying bags... Quite a lot too.

I looked back at everyone and mouthed 'I don't know who it is'. Seeing the worried look on my face, they started backing away to the kitchen to try and hide themselves. I looked back at the door and took a deep, yet shaky, breath. I put my hand on the doorknob and slowly began to open the door.

I released the breath I hadn't realised I was holding. I relaxed when I saw the person in front of me.

"You poop! I was so scared when I couldn't see who you were!" I said, jokingly punching Alisha's arm. "You couldn't see who I was?" she asked laughing. "No!" "Who did you think I was?" she asked, trying her best to supress her laughter now. "I thought you where a kidnapper or something coming to get us." I said laughing at myself.

"Us? Who else is here?" I grinned and helped her with the bags. "Come see for yourself!" I said, leading her inside. "Hey guys! Come on out, it's safe!" Everyone slowly came out of the kitchen with Alexis in the front... holding a pocket knife. 'Well you clearly came prepared' I thought to myself. Everyone relaxed when they saw I wasn't being held hostage. They all smiled when they saw our new guest.

"OMG, You brought food!" Trish said running to take the bags to the kitchen. "Hello to you too!" Alisha said while laughing. One by one, we all started greeting her. As hugs were given I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw that I had a text message from my mom.

(Y/M/N): Hello (Y/N)! How are you my precious little star? :)

I smiled down at my phone and chuckled at her message.

Me: I'm doing great mom. How are you? ☺

(Y/M/N): I'm happy as can be. But your dad and I do miss you

Me: I miss you too ❤. How's the family?

(Y/M/N): They're doing fine. They've asked me to send their regards.

Me: Thank you. Tell everyone I said Hello :D

(Y/M/N): I will, dear. Love You

Me: Love you too mom

I put my phone back into my pocket and noticed that everyone has moved to the kitchen. As soon as I had walked in, there was complete silence. "What did I just interrupt?" I asked looking at them suspiciously. They all had grins on their faces.

I swear if they were talking about what happened earlier today...

"Oh it's nothing," Alisha said, trying to hide a smirk that was beginning to form on her face. I looked at everyone else and saw that they were all trying to hide their smirks. "What's going on?" I asked, getting more curious. "We were just talking about how our days were." Trish said, sounding sincere.  "Really?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows. "I promise you," Andrea said.

We all stood there awkwardly until Star broke the silence. "I-uh, should start heading home. My dad doesn't like me staying out of the house till late." We all decided to walk her home, since she doesn't live very far. Once we all got to her house, we said our goodbyes and began our walk back to my house. To me, it seemed everyone had something on their minds. They were oddly quiet, so the walk back was a bit awkward. Once we all got home I heard someone speak, "What should we do now?" Andrea asked, looking at everyone. "We could play video games?" Alexis suggested. "Of course you would want to," Alisha said, laughing. "But what do you guys think?" she asked again. I heard then all say 'yeah' and 'sure'.

"What should it be?" Trish asked. "How about Sims?" Alexis asked enthusiastically. "Bruh" I said, laughing when she pouted. "Why don't we play Five Nights at Freddy's?" Nirvana asked. "What's that?" Alisha asked cocking her eyebrow. "It's a horror game... filled with jumpscares." I said, smiling evilly at her, knowing that she hated anything to do with horror. "Nope, nope, no, absolutely not. I'm not doing it." Alisha said, shaking her head. "I don't really want to do it either" Andrea said. "Not at night anyway." "Then what?" Nirvana asked tilting her head. "How about we play Slender?" I asked smirking at everyone. "HELL NO!" everyone shouted simultaneously.

I laughed at the looks on their faces. "You evil child," Alisha said, laughing with me. "Okay... How about we play GTA V?" Taaliah asked. "A good idea, at last!" Nirvana exclaimed. "But we can't all play on one console. It's only one person that can use it," I said, starting to set up my XBox. "It's okay, we all came prepared" Alexis said, a smug look on her face. "But how-" Before I could finish, everyone ran out of the room and came back with their laptops and controllers.

"When did you-" I was cut off when Nirvana spoke. "We've been saving up so that we could all get controllers and play with you," she smiled. I looked at everyone else and saw that they each had smiles on their faces. I smiled back widely at them all, filled with pure happiness.
