*Jocelyn's POV*
Sam and I sat on the couch, looking down at the couch. The lads were standing in front of us, waiting for our explanation.
"We'll," I started of, "Sam and I are international spies." I looked up to see the reactions on their faces. They all looked angry. "This isn't a joke Jocelyn," Louis snapped. I narrowed my eyes. He thought I was joking? Lets see whose joking after I break his arm!
I swiftly stood up and grabbed Louis' arm, pinning t behind his back, twisting it in a painful way. Louis screamed in pain, and I felt hands tugging on my arms trying to pry me off of him. I sighed irritated and let go of him. He turned around and raised his hand as if he was going to slap me out of anger. I quickly stuck my hand out, grabbed his arm, and kicked his feet out from under him, making him fall into a heap on the floor.
"What the fuck Jocelyn," I heard Harry cry, kneeling next to a hurt Louis. I gritted my teeth and replied, "I'm a black belt in karate, and I've taken ten years of Taekwondo. I would not get me mad if I was you." The boys all looked at me with their jaws dropped, and Sam calmly stood up. "Jocelyn is telling the truth," she said quietly, "We're spies, and..." She couldn't finish her sentence, fear on her face. I understood immediately. She was going to tell them about the contract but she was too scared.
"Guys," I said looking at them, "Please, do not get angry after what I tell you next. Please try and understand." I watched them all nod, and I sighed internally. I gulped and said, "Matthew was the head spy. He was in charge of all of us. Sam and I were here for a mission. Our mission was... It was to kill One Direction."
I watched their reactions carefully. In basic training, we learned how to tell emotions. Liam looked thoughtful, Harry and Louis both looked shocked, and Niall... He was fucking pissed.
"You had to what," he screamed. My eyes widened and I flinched from his tone of voice. I started to say something but he cut me off. "Was everything you and Sam did here a lie Jocelyn? Was it all an act," he screamed, pain evident on his features. I bit my lip. I heard Sam say from beside me, "Most of it was an act Niall."
Tears pooled in Niall's eyes, and I felt my heart shatter. "Ni, please don't cry," I said softly, stepping towards him and wrapping my arms around him. He pushed me back a bit roughly, saying, "You never loved me, did you Jocelyn? It was all an act, wasn't it?"
I shook my head furiously. "No! No Niall, I love you! I really do! That's why I saved your life," I tried explaining to him but he just shook his head. "It was all a lie Jocelyn," he said softly. I bit my lip and said, "My name's not Jocelyn."
Niall laughed bitterly. "Even your name is a lie," he exclaimed angrily. "My real name is Lucy," I said softly. "We'll Lucy," he said quietly, "I really hate you." And with that, he walked out of the living room, probably heading to his room.
I stared after him, tears running down my face. "Jocelyn," Liam asked softly, "Are you and San responsible for what happens to Zayn?"
I turned to him wiping my eyes. "Liam, I never wanted to hurt any of you. I came here with the intention of killing you all, but then, I fell in love with Niall... Then Sam came and she-"
Before I could finish my sentence, Sam finished it for me. "I came and tried to kill Zayn after I realized that I loved him," she said, looking up at the boys.
Liam nodded thoughtfully, and I glanced at Louis and Harry. Harry now had Louis in his arms, who had a pained look on his face. I instantly regretted what I did to him earlier.
"Lou I'm sorry for-"
"Shut up Lucy," he said, harshly saying my name, "I'm done with your lies."
A sob escapes my lips without my permission, and I buried my head in my hands, crying loudly. I knew they wouldn't understand. I knew they would hate me!
I heard someone snap something at Louis, then I felt warm arms wrap around me in a hug. I didn't return the kind gesture, still sobbing. I felt the person hugging me rubbing soft circles on my back.
"Stop crying love, Louis didn't mean that," the person said. I looked up and met a pair of warm brown eyes. "You, you don't hate me," I asked, blinking back the tears that were still unshed. Liam shook his head. "Of course not Jo- I mean Lucy, I believe you," he said. I smiled weakly at him and hugged him back.
Maybe, since Liam didn't hate me, maybe the others might learn not to hate me either.
~*~*~
Sam, Liam and I stood in the kitchen, arms crossed glaring at a arm cuffed Matthew. "What should we do with him," Liam asked. "First," I say comply, "We get answers out of him." Matthew rolled his eyes. I knew we were going to have to force him to talk.
"Your not going to do anything but let me go," Matthew said calmly, "Or else a certain family of Sam's will die." My eyes widened and I turned to Sam, who's face was white. "Matthew, you told me you wouldn't," she started but didn't finish. She walked up to Matthew and slapped him.
"How can you fucking dare even think of doing that to me! Your own fucking niece," she screamed hysterically. Liam and I rushed forward, pulling Sam back. Liam asked carefully, "Sam, did you say niece?" She nodded, taking deep breathes to try and calm down. "My mum," she glanced at me and corrected herself, "Lucy's and mine's mum is Matthew sister." I gagged. "I so do not want to be related to Matthew," I said angrily, which made Matthew laugh.
"So sorry sweet heart, or should I say niece," he said happily, smug that I was angry. I rolled my eyes. "So what your saying Matthew, is if we let you go, you won't kill out family," I asked him. He nodded. "And how do we know you won't do that anyways," I asked grimly. He grinned, "You won't be able to tell, you're just going to have to trust me." I sighed and he threatened, "But keep me here any longer, and they're definitely dead."
I gulped and turned to Liam. "Call Paul and tell him to have the hotel guarded. Tell him to also send four body guards up here, two to escort Matthew out of our lives, and two to guard the door," I commanded him, and he agreed, nodding and taking his phone out.
I turned to Matthew. "Who have you the mission to murder One Direction," I asked him. He smirked. "Classified information Lucy, you would have had access to it if you didn't betray the company," he said smugly. I groaned and leaned against the wall.
I saw Liam come in with two body guards, and Paul. Surprise crossed his features and asked, "What is he doing here?" Matthew looked at Paul confused. I frowned. "Do you two know each other," I asked confused. They both slowly shook their heads. "Nope," they said at the same time. "Right," Paul said, "Liam told me enough information that I have decided to have you sir," he motioned to Matthew, "Escorted out of here by my rip two guards. The room is guarded and we now have guards watching the premises. You will never be allowed back here again, understood?" Matthew seemed amused by Paul, and merely nodded. The two body guards came forward and picked him up roughly by the shoulders, dragging him out of the hotel.
"Are you guys ok," Paul asked us, looking concerned. "Yes, thanks Paul," I heard Sam say. He nodded and walked out.
Liam turned to us and asked, " Matthew isn't going to stop trying to kill us, is he?"
Sam and I shook our heads grimly. "So, what's now," he asked miserably. Sam and I looked at each other and grinned, turning back to Liam. "You guys get to start your spy training," we said in unison, like freaky twin sisters should.
