Samantha and I walked into the kitchen, arms linked, and sat down at the counter. “Everyone,” I said loudly, “This is my best friend Samantha.” The boys look at Samantha and I, their jaws hanging open in shock. “You never mentioned her,” Liam murmured, still a little shocked. I frowned. “Why are you guys staring at us like were aliens,” I asked, a little annoyed. “It’s just,” Niall started saying but faltered. “You look like twins,” Harry finished for him. Samantha and I both frown and look at each other simultaneously.

“We do not,” we say at the same time, and I raise an eyebrow. She looks as confused as I felt. “Niall, what are you talking about,” I ask him. He just shakes his head. “There is obviously a resemblance between you two,” he says. “No, there is not,” Samantha says sternly. I frown, thinking hard. I look at her intently. Maybe, we do look a little alike. I remember the shock of first seeing her, thinking I was seeing me. “Let’s go Sam,” I say pulling her gently out of the room, “We have to…catch up…”

I pull her out of the kitchen and race up to my room, her trailing behind me. Once we go inside my room, I close the door quietly, leaning against it. Samantha sits on my bed and I study her. “Why do we look alike,” I murmur to myself. “When’s your birthday,” she asks me. I roll my eyes. “That won’t prove anything,” I tell her. She shrugs. “I was born March 13,” she says and I gasp. “So was I… at 1:38pm…,” I tell her, and her eyes widen in surprise. “I was born at 1:41 pm….”

I shake my head, rubbing my temples. “Why would Matthew assign you to me, if he knew that we could possibly be…twins,” I ask, thinking aloud. “Mom never told me I had a sister,” she mutters. At those words, my head snaps up and I’m quickly standing in front of her. “’How do you know your mother? Are you adopted or something,” I ask, a little annoyed. My mom died of child birth, and if we were twins, we had the same mom.

She shakes her head. “I’m not adopted, I was talking about my biological mom,” Sam says, also a little annoyed. I sit down next to her and sigh. “How? She’s dead,” I whisper. She frowns. “If were twins, and my mom is alive, then yours is too,” she states. I roll my eyes. I snap, “I know that, but Matthew told me that she died giving birth! He also said I have no siblings!” Her frown deepens.

“How did you even get a job with Matthew,” I ask her. Most of the spies didn’t have any relatives, that way they wouldn’t be missed if something went wrong. She shifts uncomfortable. “Well… I sort of ran away and just kind of… bumped into Matthew,” she tells me, but it sounds more like a question. I laugh. “You’re a horrible liar, but why did you run away from our mom,” I ask her. She stiffens and whispers, “I knew too much…”

“This is too confusing,” I mutter, completely annoyed at Matthew. “Ok you know what,” I say deciding on what to do, “Were just going to lie!” She laughs. “I thought you would say that,” she says happily. “Ok so here’s the plan,” I state, sitting next to her.

Sam and I walk back into the kitchen, arms linked once again. We take a seat on the bar stools, and look around. The boys were staring at us, confusion written on their faces. I smile. “Sorry, you guys must me confused,” I state, they nod and I continue, “Let me explain. Sam and I just wanted to play a trick on you. We are indeed twins, as Harry thought we were.” They all nod again, understanding dawning on their faces. Sam smiles shyly. I bite my lip and tell them, “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you earlier, she is just a huge fan and I couldn’t stop her from coming.” Sam pretends to be mad at me for sharing the fake information and hits my arm lightly.

“You didn’t have to tell them that,” she murmurs looking down. Liam smiles. “It’s quite all right love, many people like us,” he says with another smile. I smirk. Does Liam have a little crush on Sam? I look around quickly, realizing something odd. “Where’s Zayn,” I ask to no one in particular, and I notice Niall tense a bit. “He hasn’t been around lately,” I add. I remember the night he kissed me, and feel a little sorry for him. Why does everyone want me?

“I don’t know where he is and I don’t care,” I hear Niall mutter. I frown. What’s wrong with him? It’s like he hates Zayn. He couldn’t Zayn, could he? Their best friends! “I think he’s still sleeping,” I hear Liam murmur. “I’m not sleeping,” I hear someone say. I turn to look at Zayn who’s standing in the entrance of the kitchen. I notice his gaze on me. I look up and our eyes meet. His eyes soften when they meet mine, and I can see the pain in them. I bite my lip and look away from him.

I feel Niall sit down next to me and wrap his arms around my waist protectively. “Are you okay with Zayn here,” he whispered in my ear. I hesitated for a moment, and then nodded. He smiled, and then kissed me gently. I smiled and pulled away. I saw Zayn watching Niall and me out of the corner of my eye. He coughed. “So, who’s this,” he asked, gesturing towards Sam, “’She looks like…” He stops talking, realizing that Sam looks like my clone. I smile. “This is Sam, she’s my twin sister,” I say, and watch as Zayn’s eyes light up slightly. I wonder what he’s thinking…

Zayn’s POV

There are two? There are two Jocelyn’s? Is this a sign that I should go after her? That, I may have a chance with her? Well, maybe not with Jocelyn, she’s with Niall, but, maybe Sam is like Jocelyn. Sam can be my replacement Jocelyn. If I can’t have Jocelyn, I can have the next best thing. Which is Sam…

I smiled a little. “Nice to meet you Sam, I didn’t know Jocelyn had a sister,” I say, looking at Sam, taking in her appearance. She looked just like Jocelyn. Maybe she had the same personality. Maybe they were exactly alike. Sam smiled, exactly like Jocelyn, and said, “Yea she does…” Sam seemed shy, while Jocelyn was outgoing. So Sam wasn’t exactly like Jocelyn, I can work with that…

“So Sam, have you been to London before,” I asked her. Everyone seemed to have drifted off into their own little conversations. Well, at least most of us. Jocelyn and Niall were just staring into each other’s eyes. I bit my lip. I wished I was Niall. I wanted Jocelyn so bad. “No I haven’t, this is actually my first time here, I’ve always wanted to come because I'm a huge fan and all and,” she stopped, realizing she was rambling. She blushed and looks down. I smiled. I liked the shy version of Jocelyn. I mean, Sam. This isn’t just a different version of Jocelyn, just someone who looked like her.

“Would you like me to show you around,” I asked her, taking a seat on the bar stool next to her. She smiled shyly, looking up at me. “I would love to,” she murmured, blushing a bit. I smiled brightly, jumping up. “Well let’s go,” I said excitedly, taking her hand and lifting her to her feet. Her eyes widen. “But, I didn’t eat breakfast,” she exclaimed. I chuckled. “We’ll get something on the way,” I tell her.

“Were leaving bye,” I yell into the kitchen, as I pull Sam out of the kitchen. She laughed and pulled me to a stop once we were in front of the door. “Why are you so eager to get me alone Zayn,” She asked with a smirk. I blushed lightly. I didn’t respond but just winked. She laughed and pulled me out of the door, smiling.
