Chapter Five

I opened my eyes and turned towards the desk. A man sat at this desk one that I hardly recognized.

"Hello I'm here to see if my great cousins death record is here?" I lied and he nodded.

"Name." He said and I closed my eyes.

"Alexis Renin." I said and he head popped up and he smiled.

"A moment please Mrs..." He asked and I cleared my throat.

"West." I told him and he smiled stood and walked to the back. I stood there fiddling with a pen before my eyes crossed his name plate.

"Samuel Harrison?" I asked myself and something popped in my head.

"Run!" Someone screamed and I turned to see the woman with black hair standing before me like my own reflection in the window. I looked at it closer as she looked around ten back at me.

"Are you crazy run!" She screamed and I blinked as she moved unlike my reflection. I looked at her as the door opened behind me and two hands lifted me from the ground. I let out a shriek of terror as we went through the window and fell ten stories. Whomever had his hands on me landed on their feet and took off. We were going faster than any car I had ever been. I watched as things flashed by and watched as three more figures appeared behind us. Finding a way I hit my kidnapper in the head and loud ouch was heard.

"Would you not hit the person trying to save you in the head?" He asked looking at me with those piercing golden green eyes.

"Wade!? B-but your just a vision!" I cried and he frowned.

"Nope. I'm pretty real." He said and we turned the corner stopping. I looked around at my surroundings.

"A car park?" I asked and he raised a brow.

"You think we are safe here?" I asked and he smiled.

"Yes, the others are looking to make sure no one followed us." He said starting towards a big storage building.

"Is this the part I follow you in and you murder me? If it is I have a test tomorrow morning that I really can't fail... So..." I told him and he turned giving me a smirk.

"Calm down little girl. I'm not a killer." He smiled and I took a step towards him. I was about to cross the road when I found I was in a different place.

"Are you a reaper like your sister?" He asked and I shook my head trying to think of a way out of his grasp.

"Did your sister reap before you left?" He asked and it hit me. He was looking for Alexis, and thinks Shay reaped me.

"Alexis was already gone, Wade." I said with pity in my voice.

"What do you mean already gone!?" He yelled pushing me against the wall harder. I looked at his hands then at his face and sighed.

"I was Alexis." I said and he pulled one hand off my arm and back handed me, busting my lip with his super strength.

"To tell you the truth I never thought you'd be like this when I was Alexis. How did I like you?" I asked myself out loud so he could hear. He turned kicking my in the gut twice.

"Who kicks a girl?" I asked when my breath cw back and he turned wrapping his hand in my hair.

"Your a liar! How could you have been Alexis?" He asked and I smiled.

"My sister erased my memories when I was younger causing me to become a baby again. We were running from the rebels in ninety eighty nine when she did and one man found me and took me home to his hospital unit. There I was mixed up and given to the Renins. They raised me ad I never knew the truth until she came to reap me. When you and Zenthor left the room I touched her forehead and everything came back to me. I am Freya Cardinal not Alexis Renin. Please stop!" I screamed when he moved to kick me again.

"Liar!" He said before grabbing me by the neck and pulling me up.

"Tell me the truth or I'll kill you." He said and I gasped for air. He smiled and dropped me. I gasped for air until I was satisfied and looked at him.

"I-i am t-telling the t-truth." I said and he frowned and turned kicking a nearby table and sending it flying into the wall.

"That's it!" He yelled coming towards me. He kicked me three more times before I blanked out......
