Love Built on Violence

I rushed through the chilly night air to find her but I couldn't but I wasn't about to give up. I could hear police sirens roaming through the city looking for us and I had to get to her first. I hid my face as soon as some police cars went by blaring their sirens and lights.

"Where did she go?" I asked myself over and over.
I searched frantically for Lucia and found myself on our old street. She had to be here if she wasn't I was out of options. I walked to the abandoned house that was once hers and slowly opened the door anticipating her presence. Relief washed over me as I walked in to her cuddled into a corner.

"Thank god I found you." I exclaimed as I rushed to her side. I pulled her against me to warm her shivering body from the cold. I pulled my hoody off and wrapped it around her for extra measures as she snuggled closer into me.

"Do you promise you won't let anyone hurt me?" Her glowing green eyes met mine as we shared a moment of peaceful silence.

"I promise you on my life, I won't let anything hurt you." She smiled wide and hugged me tight. After a while she stood up stretching and placed her hand out for me.

"What are we doing?" I asked confused.
"We can't stay here, its too cold silly you'll freeze." She smiled again and pulled me to my feet. I held her hand and opened the old wooden door trying to plan out where we would go. As we were walking two boys came from around the corner in front of us and started walking the same direction as us.

"Oh can I Bones? Please?" Lucia beg puffing her lip out.
"Go ahead." I answered giving in.
"Yaaaay!" She smiled and skipped ahead of me to catch up to the boys and got between them. I watched as she toyed with them, tricking them into a false sense of security.

"I'm out to have a little fun, do you think you boys can handle me?" She seductively asked and both of them obviously nodded their heads.
"Let's go somewhere a little more private, its a little chilly out here." She pretend to shiver.
"We can go to my place, my parents aren't home." One of the boys suggested. I quietly followed as I could see the boys excitedly look between each other. I chuckled to myself and kept with them a couple blocks making sure I wasn't seen until we approached a modern style yellow house. They opened the door for Lucia and she walked in drawing them in with her touch. As soon as they were out of sight I rushed for the door and turned the ice cold knob slowly trying to make as less noise as possible. I could see a light on at the end of the hallway where they must have been. I took a seat on the stairs and waited until one of the boys started screaming bringing a smoke to my face. I stood up and walked to the door pushing it open to the brutal sight of both the boys dead both cut open and with their guts drug out.

"I see you decided to go with the disembowel kill this time." I smiled at the adorable sight of her bloody face as she carved out initials into the wall with a heart going around them.

'L + B forever and always.'

She smeared blood across the words and contempt with her work she ran at me giving me a hug.
"Isn't it beautiful?" She marveled kissing me on the cheek.
"You truly are an artist, my love." I kissed her forehead and played with her hair as we stared at the carving.

"Do you want to go lay down?" She asked me with puppy eyes.
"Sure, go ahead and I'll meet you up there."
"Ok!" She excitedly skipped out of the room and up the stairs. I turned my attention to the two body's laying in the room. I approached the boy with no shirt and pushed my hand inside of his stomach, I reached up into his chest and grabbed one of his rib bones and pulled it until it snapped out and then did the same with his friend. I took my knife and began carving my knife into the bone to make a hole. After a while I created a hole in both of the bones and pulled a my keychain out lined with various bones of different sizes. I put the keychain in a bag I carried with my different knives.

"Are you almost done?" Lucia asked from the top of the stairs bringing a smile to my face.
"Yes Lucia, I'm finished." I put the ring of bones back in my bag and brought it up the stairs with me. I walked into the room as she stood there with my bloody hoody looking out of the window.

"What's wrong?" I carefully walked forward and wrapped my arms around her.
"Do you ever get the feeling that your nothing more than a monster?" She turned towards me and embraced my hug with one of her own.
"All the time." I answered bluntly. "But if I wasn't this way I wouldn't have met you." I could feel her happiness as she tightened her hug around me.
"Let's get to bed, Ok? You need your rest." I pulled the covers and pillows off of the bed and laid them on the floor for us.

"Maybe if you sleep long enough I'll bring you breakfast in bed." I chuckled as I laid next to her.
"Now I'm going to sleep extra long so you have to." She snuggled into my chest while I wrapped us in a blanket.
"Is the door locked?" She asked worriedly.
"Yes and I set a stack of glass cups on the stairs and I cut the power."
"Your so thorough." She giggled as she poked my nose.
"Only for you my love, only for you." I kissed her on the forehead as we both blissfully fell asleep.
