I am lost

Carmen's pov
Damn I swear I could sleep for one whole day now.I am so tired like this whole day has been just meeting people from a past I don't even remember clearly.But I somehow seem to fit in (god knows how)but getting to know that I use to play with the Arsenal team in their changing room when I was a kid does not even sound insane..talk about life.
2:15Pm
I'm taking back my words of being sleepy..My eyes aren't even closing.Yeah,jetlags..hitting me on the night I really don't want to think about life.I get up and grab my stoll and I go out.The landing lights are on and I just tiptoe till there.
God,How the fuck! Don't they get lost in this place.
After countless steps and turns I reach the terrace.Swear to God I'll probably be stuck out here because I can't even remeber the way I came.
It's windy tonight but L.A. looks beautiful.A city that hardly sleeps.I turn just in time to see Romeo come up.
Uh oh...
"Hey!"He comes and I scoot over to give him space.
He looks cute with those nerd glasses and arsenal jersey.
"Hey!Can't sleep?"
I look at him and then slowly speak,"Obviously..I'm halfway across the world!"
He chuckles,"Yeah!Want to go back?"
"I don't know I'm so freaking lost" My voice is on the verge of cracking as it suddenly hits me..how my life has changed.in the last 48 hours.
"I mean It's not everyday when you get told you had a memory loss"
I smile trying to keep myself from crying.
"You know,you can cry" So soft but yet distinct even across the wind.I look at him and he's looking back at me.His face illuminated by the landing lights.
"Can I ask you something?"
He looks at me surprised,"Yeah?"
"How close were we?"
Something came over his face but disappeared as fast as it came.
"Damn!I don't know..I mean we did everything together..You knew me since we were 2 and we had this wierd telepathy crap where I could complete your sentence..."He looks away ,a soft smile playing on his face.
"I'm sorry...I don't remember anything exc..."
I stop myself.
"Except..??except what??"
"Nothing..just a passing thought"
"No school tomorrow?"
"It's trig...last place on earth..been bunking it since god knows when"
We both laugh and somehow it felt right.Me sitting on the roof with him.
"I missed you,Carmen."
I look up right into those brown eyes that probably held all my secrets that I didn't even know,that probably remembered all the things I don't even remember,those eyes which looked hurt at some point and maybe that is also due to me.
"Romeo,I ...I don't know what to say.I mean you were there.You were there all those times that I didn't even remember you.Your.voice was the only thing that started my flashbacks but right now....I am lost"
My voice has turned into almost a whimper and I can feel the tears sliding down my cheek.He wipes it away all the time staring into my eyes."I'll stay here.Carmen I'm not going anywhere."
With that he gets up and as he goes away I hear him speak
"Meet Jake."
