Chester's POV
(the next few chapters with grace and chester will be in first person.)
The first time I ever went on a date with Grace, I took her to the fair. She had told me before that she liked carousels, so that's were I took her.
"That was the most fun I've ever had." She said, holding the big stuffed animal panda I had won her.
"Same time next week?" She had whispered in my ear.
"Um, yeah!" "Of course." I smiled. She got out of the car, and walked into her house.
As I drove home that silent night, I realized that I loved her, and that I had never felt that feeling to another woman before.
*flash forward to the fight that ended it all.*
We had been together for 3 years. I knew it was time to tie the knot.
I was going to take her to the fair, and propose to her there, where our first date was.
"Where are we going?" Grace asked from the bathroom door.
"It's a surprise!" I answered.
When Grace got out of the shower, she said, "Do you think we should tell the fans that were dating?"
"No."
"Why not?" Grace asked, upset.
"I'm not ready!"
"We've been dating for 3 years!" "Surely your ready." Grace yelled.
"I'm going for a walk."
"Okay, then, get ou-"
"Shut the fuck up!" I answered.
I made the greatest mistake of my life leaving.
