Grace's POV
(Grace's last first person chapter)

I felt my white empty space fading away.

First came the sound,

Beep, Beep, Beep

It was so familiar, the rhythm of my heart beat.

Then I heard voices,

"She's waking up."
"How do you know?"
"I just do."

Then the feeling in my chest, the tingly feeling you get when you know that something bad was going to happen.

Then my eyes.

I opened them slowly to get used to the pouring light that seeped into my eyes.

"Doctor!" "She's awake!"

I opened my eyes fully and saw the faces of Mamrie, Hannah, Dan, Phil, Mitchell, and Chester.

Chester?

Every single one of them had tears in their eyes.

Hannah yelled, "Grace!"

I was hugged by many people on that day, but when everyone left, there was one person lurking.

"Grace." Chester said.

"What do you want from me?" "

I made mistakes, I know, but can't you give me a second chance?!" "I get it, you're tired, but I was scared Grace!"

"Scared of what?!"

"I was scared that you would leave me!" "Scared that you would dump me on the side of the street like a goddamn piece of trash!" "I'm trying to change!"

"Change for who?" "Chester, you were perfect to me just the way you were!" "Why are you trying to change into someone who's better then you?!" "You're perfect!"

"I'm not perfect!" "I have problems!" "Grace, I wanted to change because I wanted to be a better person!" "I was changing for you!" Chester yelled, his face turning red.

"Chester! You're overreacting, I was going to give you a second chance if you came back." "I was running after you because I love you!" "Don't you get it?" "I wasn't running after you to go and kick your ass!"

"You still love me?"

"Yes."

"I love you too, an-"

"Chester how long was I in that coma?"

"One month."

"So I chased after you for 4 months, and you kept running even when I was out?"

"Yes." He said, looking down at the tile floor.

"Can we start over?" Chester said.

"Yes."
