Chapter 25

It's been a few days since the rouge and vampire incident. The pups are playing with their cousins in the back yard, and I'm talking to Julia, who just found out she is pregnant. She has been a mess and so has Ryder and his kids.

"Everything will turn out fine in the end." I tell her. She tries nodding her head. "I have a plan though." I tell her watching the kids roll around.

"What?"

"I said, I have a plan." I say looking to her. She looks at me like I'm crazy. "No one is going to like it though... Or let me go forward with it." I say pulling my knees up to my chest.

"Symphony I know what you want to do, and your right we won't let you." I roll my eyes at her. Leah comes out and sits next to me. I sniff the air and stiffen from the smell.

'Damon get to the house now!'

'I'm on my way what's wrong?' He asks concerned.

'We have a visitor... Or a few.' I hear him growl as I stand. I feel Julia and Leah look at me. The pups stop what they are doing and my three boys stand in front of the others. I see the red eyes, but I smell a familiar scent with them.

I cautiously walk to them needing to see if it's real. "Pups go to the house." I order them quietly, and they all obey. I stop dead in my tracks seeing her. The vampire has her tight in his grasps. Katie has tears in her eyes being afraid of what will happen. Her eyes land on my and fill with some relief, but then go wide. She's alive?

"Look who we have here." The vampire smirks. I growl at him taking a step forward my hands bawled into fists.

"Let her go." I demand. He chuckles at me smelling the crook of her neck. That's when I lunge at him tackling him to the ground making him release Katie.  She runs a little distance away watching me rip his head off. I didn't realize I shifted until I felt my teeth sink in his neck.

"Well, isn't this little miss Luna, last of her kind." I hear a voice chuckle. I breath in smelling the discussing smell of rouges. I snap my head to him growling. He chuckles at me looking towards the house. I growl louder gaining his attention. "I wonder how your family is doing? I hear the runt got drugged." That's when I see red and don't know what my dog is doing. All I know is she is showing no mercy taking full control.

I snap out of it feeling someone lift me off the ground. I gain control and blink a few times. I feel the tingles and know it is Damon who is carrying me. He is holding me like I'm a little pup. 'Can you put me down now?' I asks him.

'Symphony, oh God she went red zone.' Damon says putting me down. I turn to look at him cocking my head to the side.

'What?' I ask really confused.

'Turn around and look.' He tells me cautiously. I turn around and my mouth drops. The guys are cleaning up the dead bodies of the ten dead, bloody shredded rouges. I shake my head stepping back and glance at Damon. He watches me cautiously waiting for me to do something. 'That was all you.' He says nodding toward it. I freeze for a second before I remember something.

'Wait, where is Katie?' I ask looking around.

'Who?'

'She was my human.' I explain.

'I thought she was killed.'

'So did I.' I sniff the air trying to find her scent, which I catch. I look up and see her sitting on the branch looking down at me. I walk over to the bushes and shift back throwing on a tee shirt and sweatpants. I walk out and look up to her.
