The Blue Moon Alpha (completed)

Chapter 1

I wake up opening my eyes as Katie sits up in her bed. "Good morning Symphony." She says. She rubs her sleepy eyes and then runs a hand threw her blond wavy hair. She just turned twelve last week, and has school today. I lift my head watching her walk to her closet.

She pulls out jeans and a peach colored sweatshirt. The sweatshirt had the word love written on it in white. "I'll be right back." She says heading to the bathroom to get ready. I sand up once she closes the door. I stretch before shaking my fur. No, I'm not a wolf... I'm not a werewolf.

I'm a were-dog, which means I'm a Irish wolfhound. They are already a big dogs, but with me and my pack being were-dogs the makes us get to four feet. Which happens to be the size of some werewolves. We are also the last of our kind, which makes us a threat to some. But it also makes us special.

I walk to the window getting the feeling someone is watching me. I look and in the distance I see a wolf... werewolf. He just watches me from where he is, and my fur stands stiff. I hold in a growl not wanting to frighten my owners.

Katie comes out finishing a side braid with her hair. "Come in girl. Mom says you have to stay outside, but you know that already." She says grabbing her backpack before opening the door. I follow her down the stairs and to the back door. "Alright, Symphony I'll see you after school." She says scratching my head.

I lick her cheek as she opens the door. She giggles, and I run out into the yard. I look back as she shuts the door. I sniff the air and smell nothing bad. I trot around my territory I made around the yard, and freeze seeing the wolf. I'm almost close enough to smell what pack he is from. I take a step forward sniffing the air, and keep taking small steps until the smell hits me.

The Blue Moon pack. I growl at the wolf, and he cocks his head at me. He sits down watching me. I growl at him knowing he is from the pack the killed my sister and father. He stands up and walks to me until he is a foot away. The power coming off of his is clear he is Alpha blood. I growl at him standing in a protective stance. He growls back lowly making me cower away.

I take a step back my ears going flat. I lower me head the slightest bit. But I remember how my sister was killed for no reason. I stand up straight showing my teeth at him letting out a low growl. All he does is snort sending a wolfy grin at me. I hear barking from the distance, along with growling. I roll my eyes knowing it's my siblings. I growl one more time at the wolf before running to my siblings.

My siblings and I are all twins born a year apart. We were also all given dog names because we were suppose to be sent to a family, and protect them. It was going to happen, but we were attacked by rouges.

Anyway... Hunter and Scout are twins, my big older brothers, Hunter is the oldest out of us. Then there are Salt and Pepper, but Salt was killed six years ago... along with our father. Lastly it was Toby and I, and yes I'm the runt out of the group.

I get to the fight scene, and see it's Hunter and Scout. I roll my eyes at my twin brothers before I make my way next to Pepper. 'What happened?' I ask her annoyed through mind link.

'Not sure. I think it is just pent up anger.' She tells me sitting down. I see Toby running to our brothers from out of no where. He dives right into their fight, and I roll my eyes at my stupid brother. I then see our pack members poor out into the small clearing from the woods.

There are only 20 of us left. There was nearly 60, but rouges came wanting us all dead. My brothers stop fighting and look at the pack. We all sit and wait for him to say something. I mean Hunter... he is our alpha. All of us are 16 to about 30 years old, and Toby and I are the youngest at 16.

'Shift.' Hunter orders. We all do quickly grabbing our clothes we keep in the near by trees. Once we are settled we sit watching Hunter. My siblings sit near me as we watch our brother. "What is the latest news on the rouges?" He asks us.

"I haven't seen any in a week." One guys says. Others agree to him, and Hunter just nods his head.

"That's good, but that could mean they are planning something." There are gasps along with growls from the pack. "So let's train. We need to be prepared if they plan to attack." He says. "Get with your partner and get started." He orders, and everyone gets up listening.

I walk up to him, and he sees me so he smiles. "Hey, little sis." He greets me.

"Hunter, I need to talk to you." I say with urgency and nervousness. He looks concerned, but nods his head leading us away from the pack. He brings me to a little stream and stops turning to face me.

"What's wrong sister?" He asks putting his hands on my shoulders. I take a deep breath afraid to tell him.

"You know that wolf that I keep seeing?" I ask cautiously. He nods his head, his jaw clenched. "Well, I found out what pack he is from... The Blue Moon pack."

"Why did you get that close to him." Hunter growls letting go of my shoulders. His hands bawl into fists at his side.

"I wanted to know. He seems harmless, but that's not all. He had power radiating off of him."

"So, an alpha, or alpha born." Hunter snarls. I cringe back scared, but I hear someone coming. I look to see it's Scout. He spots us and jogs over.

"What are you two doing here?" He asks, but we don't answer. "Well then, Symphony are you excited for tomorrow?" He asks draping his arm over my shoulders.

"Yes." I smile. "Who wouldn't be happy to turn 17?" I ask him. He just shrugs laughing, but stops when Hunter growls.

"What's your problem?" Scout spits. Hunter's eyes cloud over, and so do Scout's. They are mind linking, and Scout growls snapping his head to mine.

"What?" I ask confused.

"I'm staying at your place tonight." Scout says. I roll my eyes knowing I have no say.
