Chapter 29

We are thrown into a new jail cell with no care in the world. I don't look up feeling everyone watch us. My pups all huddle towards me seeking comfort and safety. I smile wrapping my arms around them. I look to Klaus who is pacing the front of the cell. "Klaus," I call out to him.

He looks at me growling slightly. He is clearly confused and not happy. It's kind of funny because he is only four, but he acts like he is older. "Thank you." I say honestly. He smiles coming towards us.

"I won't let them hurt what's mine." He says confidently as he locks his gaze on Ashton. My boys tense up, and Elijah lets out a warning growl. Klaus ignores them as he glances around at everyone, who are watching us. His eyes look  up zeroing in on a vampire in a hanging cage.

"Stephan?" He questions. I feel everyone's gaze switch from us to the hanging cage. The vampire gazes down to Klaus and a growl comes from his chest.

"Klaus, did dad let them put you in here too?" He asks angry. I hold in a gasp as I watch in surprise as Stephan jumps from the cage. He walks up to our cell and opens the door picking his brother up. They hug each other as I stand in front of the pups.

"Symphony, he won't hurt them." I hear Maci's voice. I look at her and my eyes widen. Her face is all bloody and bruised, but she gives me a small smile. Bentley doesn't look that great either, and Holden isn't anywhere to be seen.

"We need to get out of here." I sate the obvious.

"Symph, Stephan is going to help us." My brother's familiar voice says. I look over to see Scout holding a fragile Ruby in his arms. Hunter holds Daisy in his arms and by the smell of it she is pregnant. My sister Pepper is heavily pregnant and is sleeping in Bandit's arms. "What, where is Toby?" He asks.

"Safe with his mate." I smile. They all look relived.

"Good, we don't want him here." Hunter says.

I smile at them before looking to Stephan who is eyeing me. "You are going to help us?" I ask. He smiles at me.

"Yes ma'am." He smiles letting Klaus down.

"How?" I ask. He smirks eyeing the pups before he looks back to me.

"First we need them to shift." He says. I growl at him taking a threatening step towards him.

"They are only three!" I growl.

"But they are defenseless against danger." He says crossing his arms over his chest and leaning against the cell door's wall. It's my turn to smirk at him. He looks at me raising an eyebrow.

"They aren't defenseless." I state. He narrows his eyes at me trying to read me. There is the sound of the door opening, so Stephan closes our cell and jumps up to his cage. I gulp as I smell Jerald coming down the steps.

Damon's point of view:

I pace my office trying not to totally freak out and let myself lose control. The door opens to my brother, my beta, my uncle Adam, my uncle Axle, and the guys. They all file in watching me cautiously. My father is already sitting at my desk on the laptop.

"Everyone take a seat." I demand stopping and turning to face them all. They all sit in the chairs I had set up. "So, you all know the situation, correct?" I ask. They all nod their heads waiting for me to continue.

"Well, the rouges and vampires are going down. They showed us they can take what they want and get away with it. They sent us a message that we are weaker and stupider than them." I pause hearing them growl. "We are going to show them that they can't take what they want, that we have out smarted them."

"They thought they had a well thought out plan, but they are wrong. Roy helped with them taking my mate and my pups." Uncle Adam stands up growling.

"Please tell me this isn't true." He growls out.

"It is, but before he told me there plan. I put a tracking device on Symphony, so now we know where they are."

'Alpha!' I hear a frantic voice in my head from one of the patrols.

'What?'

'A vampire wants to see you. His name is Thomas. He won't leave without seeing you.' He responds.

'Send him to my office with escorts.'

I shut the link and look to everyone in front of me. "We have a visitor." I say just as there is a knock on the door. "Come in." I order. The vampire walks in head held high as he walks straight up to me. His black hair is messy from running and he has five o'clock shadow.

"I need your help and you need mine." He says. I look at him confused raising an eyebrow. "He locked my boys up with your family. Roy is walking on eggshells to try and get his mate. Jerald needs to be stopped. My people are dying for no reason of our own, and we don't want him to kill us." He explains. I smile at him.

"And how would I so easily believe you?" I ask.

"Well, it means the life of your family." He says. I growl at him, but stop feeling my father's hand in my shoulder.

"We will work together with you." My father says calmly. "Thomas, I'm sorry your family got dragged into this." My father says with sympathy.

"Get fighters ready, and we will do the same. Bring them here so we can all train before the attack." I say. He nods his head thanking me.

"I'll bring you a map of his facility." He says smiling. "I wish that witch never told us about that stupid mutt or her bloody pups." He growls. I growl louder along with everyone else in the room.

"That's my mate you are talking about." His eyes widen as he takes a step back in fear.

"I didn't mean that. I was just pissed... That stupid mutt and which." He growls lowly.

"Who told you about them?" Chase asks. Thomas looks over at him clenching his fists his knuckles turning a paler white than his skin.

"Rosa." He growls out. We all gasp at what he told us. That's symphony's mother... She wouldn't have done that, right?

"We need to get to the bottom of this. You should leave before they start to get curious over there." I say an she nods his head agreeing.

"Okay, we will come Saturday, by noon." He says before leaving. I look to the guys and fall into my desk chair frustrated.

"Everyone is ready Damon." Chase tells me. I nod my head and walk over to where the other alphas, and Thomas, stands. I stand beside them and look out to our many warriors. Thomas brought all the ones he could without Jerald noticing. The rest that stayed back are ready to fight when we are, though. We are on the training fields waiting for me to train.

"Alright everyone grab a partner. Wolves try to pair up with the vampires for a few rounds. They need to practice fighting wolves." I instruct. They nod and turn to get a vampire partner. I look to Thomas, who seem really nervous.

He looks to me quick before looking away. "Thomas what's wrong?" Chase asks curiously. Thomas shakes his head looking to the ones who are practicing.

"Thomas." I warn. He looks at me and sends a small smile.

"I was just thinking about how Jerald would kill me if he knew this." He says. I give him a sympathetic look.

"He won't hurt you. Don't worry. Everything will be fine after I rip him to shreds." I spit out the last part.

"When should we train?" He asks. "Shouldn't we?" He asks taking in my confused face.

"Oh... Yeah... Let's start now. You and me." I say starting to stretch. He smiles and his eyes turn into a brighter shade of red.
