"Bye!" You said to your best friend, Hoshi.

As usual, he gave you a friendly hug and waved goodbye. You entered your house, and freshen up. You were having your lunch when your phone rang.

"Y/N... I broke up with Hana... Can you come over? I need someone to talk to..." You heard Hoshi.

"Okay, I'll go over as soon as possible. Hold on, okay? See you!" You ended the call and quickly changed into a decent outfit.

You ran to Hoshi's house since it was nearby. You knocked on the door, panting for air.

"Oh, you're here. Come in." Hoshi said after he opened the door.

"Why did you run? I can wait longer, you know." He asked.

"You're obviously not okay, of course I would reach here as soon as possible. I can't let my best friend be sad for too long. Look, your face shows that you cried." You said.

"Anyway, what happen this time?" You asked, curious.

There was always various reasons why Hoshi broke up with each girl. One was because the girl had to migrate because of whatever you don't care. Another was because the girl used him to get over her past boyfriend. And so on.

"Well... She complained to me about you. She said you were too close to me, although I am supposed to be with her. She said you were too clingy around me, and so on and so for."

You were shocked. Were you really like that?

"Was I really like that?" You whispered.

"No, to me you're not. She just doesn't respect you. And if she doesn't respect you, she doesn't respect me. You know how much I hate it when people talk bad about you."

You stayed quiet.

'Is it my fault they broke up?'

You thought.

"It's not your fault we broke up. It's fine, don't worry. You're my best friend anyway." He spoke after a moment of silence, as if he could hear your thoughts.

"I know you're worried about that. It's fine, really." He said, and you felt relief, although a part of you still thinks that it's your fault.

"Guess what. Let's do something fun." He said after another long silence.

Both of you smiled, thinking of the same thing. What both of you love to do together is to have water gun war at Hoshi's house balcony which is pretty big.

Both of you ran to Hoshi's room to pick out the best guns first. Both of you were pushing and laughing with each other, snatching each other's guns.

You remembered when both of you bought these guns few years ago, at the toy store. The worker was staring at both of you weirdly when both of you bought it.

At last, you got the best gun while Hoshi got the small water gun that runs out of water fast. Both of you took a really big bucket for water refill, and went to the balcony, splashing water at each other on the way.

Hoshi kept on refilling his water gun, and in the end he got frustrated and both of you fought for the bigger gun you were holding. You were hugging the bigger gun while lying on the ground, while Hoshi was trying to snatched it from you.
