25. lucky | wen junhui [ part 2 ]

So the person who requested didn't ask for a part two but I had more ideas so here's a part two to the previous Jun one shot !!

Jun's POV

Just like any other day, I would send Y/N to her classroom before going to mine. I took out my stack of almost neatly arranged notes (thanks to Y/N) and decided to study for Literature. I took out my earpiece and ignored everyone's existence, revising and revising non-stop until our Geography teacher arrived. I didn't notice that the chime had gone due to my loud music, and I had to pack everything up in a rush. I felt light multiple taps on my shoulder that made me turned around, to find Young Ji, the new student, holding onto some of my dropped notes which wasn't filed in properly.

"Um, you dropped this..." She said, hardly audible.

"Oh, thanks a lot," I smiled in a friendly manner, but I noticed that her cheeks went red. I didn't bother and turned in front, facing the teacher.

"Okay, class, there's an assignment which needs to be done. You will be grouped in pairs. At the back of this paper, there's an individual work which you have to do by yourself after completing the front part."

Everyone was tired of assignments, including me. Our exams are in a few weeks' time and assignments are thrown at us for every single subjects and they're needed to be done before our examinations. Group and pair works are even worse, we need to squeeze some time in between extra classes or practices and trainings just to get some work done. Also, there's always someone who doesn't want to cooperate.

"I'll choose your partner through a lucky draw. Each paper has your names. I'll pick two out and those two people called will be in pairs.

"Jun & Young Ji," the teacher said as she read the two papers.

I nodded my head and turned to Young Ji.

"Are you able to do the project this afternoon? There's a café nearby, I think we can get most of our work done there if we stay there for a few hours," I immediately planned out with her.

It was a café I usually would go with Y/N, so I'll invite her to join us.

"Yeah, sure. Let's meet outside the school...?"

"Let's meet in the café itself," I suggested and she nodded. I wanted to pick Y/N up to go together and it'll be awkward for Young Ji.

I went to meet Y/N at the cafeteria during our break time, and bought my food with her as usual.

"Y/N, I have to go to the café with Young Ji for our project today, van you follow us?"

"I would love to.. but I have an extra netball training today... It'll end late as usual," she pouted.

Back to no one's POV

You didn't like the idea of Jun going to a café with another girl alone. But again, you have to trust him, so you told him you were okay with it. He was asking for a million times if you're really fine, and as much as you wanted to diagree, you had no choice. You didn't want to be the reason they couldn't complete their project. When the school bell rang, you went to your locker to keep some of your books. You bumped into Jun, so you chatted with him and sent him to the gate, before having your lunch.

Jun's POV

Y/N sent me to the gate as she bumped into me. I was sure that she was not happy that I'll be in the café alone with Young Ji, so I went to call Young Ji.

"Hi, Jun,"

"Hi um, where are you right now?"

"I'm leaving the classroom. Why? Have you reached?"

"Nope. Is it okay if we do it in school instead? I'm waiting for Y/N until she ends her training, so it'll be more convenient to stay in school,"

"Oh, sure. See you in class!"

I hung up the phone, and sighed in relief as I entered the school again. The café usually has not many people around this time, so I will feel slightly awkward and uncomfortable with Young Ji alone. The school has more people around so it'll be fine. I also plan to meet Young Ji and send her home since she'll be tired. When I reached the classroom, I saw Young Ji already starting on the assignment. There were some other classmates here too, completing their assignments.

Time passed really fast as we did the project. We managed to complete it as we had all the materials and sources. I checked my watch, and realised its almost 6pm.

"I gotta go, Y/N's gonna be dismissed soon. I'll keep the papers okay?" I said and she nodded, but I could somehow see a hint of sadness in her face.

I ran to the netball court where Y/N always have her practices in, and saw her sitting at the side drinking water as sweat trickled down her forehead and neck. I came closer to her and kneeled down. I took her towel on her lap, and wiped it for her.

"Hello~" I cooed and she almost spat her water out in surprise.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, confused.

"Why can't I see my girlfriend?" I pouted, pretending that I was sad.

"Aren't you supposed to do your project?"

"C'mon it's 6pm, I would obviously be done."

"Ah..."

I smiled as I gazed at her face. She looked so beautiful, although she was sweating. Her attire was drenched and her hair was tied up in a messy bun, but it still looked good on her. Her pouty lips looked kissable, and her fair skin was glowing. She put on her spectacles, which looked adorable on her. I don't get why she thinks so lowly of herself. With a body like hers, she could be a model. It's also attractive that she's really smart.

"Hey, you okay?" Y/N asked as she held my shoulder.

"Oh, yeah," I was too busy staring at her. Her voice was like an angel's, it was slightly high-pitched. I felt so lucky to call her mine.

"I'll go change yeah?"

"Sure, take your time," I smiled sweetly.

As she changed her clothes, I helped to pack her bag, leaving some space for her used clothes. She returned in a short while and thanked me.

"I'll send you home okay?" I took her bag, which was super heavy, It was filled with her clothes and books. I picked up her shoebag and stood.

"Yah, what are you doing?"

"Helping you, you must have been tired."

She smiled and linked her arms around mine as we walked out of the school,

"I'm so lucky to have you."
