You opened your eyes, and blinked a few times as you adjusted to the sunlight shining into your room through the glass window. You look to your left, and realised that Wonwoo was not there, sleeping beside you. You frowned in confusion, as based on what you knew, he had no work today. You were slightly sad, as it was your birthday and you wanted to spend the day with him.

Where could he be?

You kicked your blanket away, and sat up on the bed. You rubbed your eye and stretched slightly. Suddenly, you heard a utensil drop, making a clinking sound. Then, you heard a 'shit!' You giggled silently, knowing that Wonwoo was there. You were curious as to what he was up to, so you wanted to leave the room. The moment you turned the door knob, you heard a familiar voice.

"Wait! No! Stay in the room!!"

The owner of the deep and raspy morning voice was none other than Wonwoo. He sounded like he was in a rush and panicking, which made you chuckle. You were curious as to what he was preparing.

"Yes~" You just listened to him and entered back your shared room with him.

You went to brush your teeth, and wash your face. Then, you sat on the bed while using your phone. After a while, Wonwoo entered with a plate of pancakes piled on one another, and a number 19 candle on top of it.

"Happy birthday to you~" Wonwoo started singing.

You were surprised because it was unexpected to receive a morning gift from him at 9am in the morning. You laughed at how cute he was to think of using a pile of pancakes as your birthday cake. The pancakes were drizzled by chocolate syrup, which is your favourite. You stood up and walked to Wonwoo, and clapped when he finished singing the birthday song for you.

"Make a wish~" Wonwoo smiled.

You closed your eyes and clasped your hands together, wishing. You wished for Wonwoo and you to be happy together forever, and will never be apart. You also wished for everyone you know to stay healthy and happy. You opened up your eyes and blew the candle.

"Happy birthday, love," Wonwoo used his free arm to hug you, kissing you on the cheek.

"Gift number one, done!" He said in an excited manner.

What he said made you anticipate about what else is going to happen throughout the day. Both of you walked to the dining table, and Wonwoo placed the pancakes down on the table. He had already prepared a knife and a fork, along with a plate for each of you. You sat down opposite him, smiling at the sight of the pancakes.

"Thank you, love~" You couldn't stop smiling. You were so happy, it was such a perfect way to start the day. Both of you took a pancake each and started digging into the food.

"This is delicious!" You exclaimed.

"It's way better than the pancake you did last time. That pancake was totally burned." You laughed, and Wonwoo followed.

"I learnt it from Mingyu and Dokyeom for you~ I also learnt to flip the pancakes! Are you proud of me?" Wonwoo's nose scrunched up as he grinned cheekily at what he said.

"Are you sure this isn't instant pancakes?" You playfully doubted.

"No~ I really made it myself! The mess in the kitchen explains everything," Wonwoo was probably slightly offended as he was pouting silently.

"Joking~ I'm proud of my love right here~ Stop pouting or I'll kiss you!"

You ruffled his messy hair. Wonwoo didn't stop pouting, instead he exaggerated it.
