Jessamine Carlyle lives in a small town where everyone knows everyone. She grew up in the same class of kids, give or take a few of them. But every year, her small town of Aldspring, North Dakota gets five foreign exchange students in their high school. They all are from big cities in Europe and don't know a lot about North Dakota. And this year, she's one of the hosts. But she never expected her student to be an attractive guy from Spain.
Phoenix Hidalgo never expected to land in the small town of Aldspring, North Dakota. He didn't even know there was such a place called North Dakota. He didn't want to go some place he didn't know. He wanted to go to LA, Miami, NYC or Chicago. Not Aldspring. He hoped there would at least be something to do there. And he hoped there would be someone he could talk to at least.
