I'm too awake to go to sleep
I'm surrounded by an emotional heap
I'm Faking Normal
I've got to be formal
It's easy to relate
It's hard to explain
I'd like to congratulate
The one with the vast plain
There's a story to tell
It was their living hell
I cannot say
Maybe you could play
Play with the the spine
See their life line
Play with the pages
Reanimate the stages
From word to word
Watch them move forward
Maybe in time
You'll understand this rhyme
It'll help you
Fix the things that flew
From your grasp
All you have to do is ask
Your voice my rasp
And it'll be a difficult task
But think about this
What would you miss
The pain
The sorrow
What do you gain
What comes tomorrow
Who is your savior
Let them do a favor
Let them help
Just give a little yelp
It might surprise
Your little eyes
How a broken crayon
Can still colour
Just try them on
Open the door
Fix it now~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a poem I wrote about a book I read and how it can relate to people out there in the world and how people who are broken want to fix someone else.
