I drove my car 54 feet to Eric's house and he came outside to help with my things. I walked into the house and smelt popcorn. I have a weird craving for popcorn and he didn't know.
"Eric, is that mine?" I asked. "Of course baby." "What are you doing tomorrow?" I asked him. "Probably kick it with the guys, what you had in mind?" He said. "Well I'm going to Louisiana for a vigil for my parents, and I was wondering if you would come with me?" "Yeah, but you just using me to drive" he said figuring me out. "No.."I chuckled. "I'm going with you I'll just leave Dre & Cube to take car of Ruthless while we gone." Eric said. "Okay I'm going to bed. Thank you so much." "Hey, i'm really into making this work, so of course imma be there for you."
I ran up the stairs to a guest room. I laid there in deep thoughts & tears. I will miss my parents dearly.
Eric's POV
Jay decided to go to bed, so I chilled on the couch & watched tv until I got tired. Tomorrow's gonna be a long day, driving from Compton to New Orleans is at least 9 hours. I would book a plane, but after what happened to Jasmine, that's not a wise idea.
I turned the tv off & walked up stairs to my bedroom & noticed Jasmine was in the guest room. I opened the door and heard her whimpering "Babe, I'm here." I said pulling her next to me in her bed. About 10 minutes later, we drifted off.
Another boring chapter, but this trip is about to be hectic🙏🏽.
