I wake up to the feeling of warmth on my head. I open my eyes to find Parker sleeping softly. I try to escape his grasp but he just pulls me back next to him. Which doesn't really help my injuries. "Parker let me go" I say looking up at him, his eyes still closed. "No" he whispers his response. This boy will be the end of me. "I have to get home", I reason. "I don't care" he says in a muffled voice. Still not letting me go. "Please"I plead. "Fine" he replies flatly and let's me go.

I get up and walk to the door. I stop in front of the door and look back to see Parker fast asleep on the couch. I sigh as sadness creeps into my heart, last night was the last time I was gonna feel happiness not since Hunter. I swallow down the not in my throat. Once I open this door I cannot get any closer to him, I have to ignore him. I don't want to but I have too. I don't want anyone to die.....again.

I grab the handle and take a deep breath in. I look back but only for a spilt second then I open the door and slowly close it behind me. I run towards my house. I reach the front door and take the spare key out from under the door mat and unlock the door. Closing the door behind me I run up to my room to find my room in a complete mess. As much as I would like to snap my fingers and then everything would be back to normal, unfortunately this is no Disney movie. Far from it actually.

I start to clean up everything that I can. The broken window I'm gonna have to fix tomorrow, I'm way to tried for that. It's probably only like 3 in the afternoon but in all honesty I'm always tired.

I grab my computer and go into my bed. I flip it open and search for movies to watch.

For the next few hours I have watched movies on my computer. I feel my eyes about to close but I'm woken up by the pattering of rain on my desk since I have no window. A smile works its way on to my face and I jump up from my bed and run to it. I love rain, it immediately makes me happy.

I stick my head out the window, greeted by a cool breeze and rain pouring down onto me. I'm taken out my trance when I look down the road and I see someone looking like ...... Hunter.

But it can't be but I can't resist it. I run out my room and out the front door and run in the direction he is walking. He is far forward, I pick up the pace. My bare feet hitting the road splashing water everywhere. My hair and clothes sticking to me. My back starts to ache more and more every time I take a leap forward.

"HUNTER!" I shout into the distance. I run faster and soon I'm just a few feet away from him. I use the last ounce of energy I have and run closer to him. I tap his shoulder, he turns around and there in the flesh is Hunter. Before I know it I launch myself on him, I hug him tight. Tears streaming out my eyes. "I'm sorry" was the last thing he said before he turn into dust. I fall to my knees. I lie down on my side and curl up in a ball. All the emotions that Ihave hidden is coming out all at once and I can't breathe. He died and it's all my fault. I'm just wait for a car to come and run me over and end my pain.

"NICOLE!?" I hear a voice shout and I sit upright and see Parker running towards me. I get up and run forwards. He can't get too close he just can't. He keeps shouting my name but every time he does I run faster until I reach the woods. I run into it, mud splashing everywhere. I can feel him only a few meters behind me. I pick up the pace until I don't hear him anymore. I stop and rest my head against a tree, my eyes closed. A hand grasps my arm and my eyes shoot open to find Parker his eyes full of worry plus a bit of anger in them.

"What are you doing?"he says in a soft voice.
"I can't get close to you", I say staring down at the ground.
"Why?"
"I don't want anything to happen to you"
"Why would something happen?"
"I'm dangerous" I say and yank my arm away, I push past him walking away.
"I can handle myself you know", He shouts from behind me. I stop and look at him over my shoulder.
"Not this time", I say as the rain is pouring down on me. I look in front of me, I take one step but I feel Parker behind me. His heat radiating from him. "Why?"
