How to Tell Him?

Sabella's POV

I've been hiding out in my room more regularly than usual because I didn't want anyone to know I was pregnant. How did I hide it you may ask? It was easy cause I'm a witch, or a practicing witch, if you'd want to call  it that.

"Sabella! You in there?" Daxon called pounding on my door. I sighed as I reluctantly got up and opened the door.

"Yes, Dax?" I said grumpily.

"You need to come quick, Destiny is changing, I think."

"But Destiny's only 14. Normal weres don't change until 16 at least." I hurriedly put on my clothes and followed him.

"There's another thing you should know, she found her mate. I'm not sure what he is but he knows about us and what we are." I paused a bit.

"Her wolf is awakening. I'm not sure if its cause of her finding her mate but I've sensed it for a while but never knew this would happen.

I entered the cavern we normally took young wolves who were changing for the first time. It was dangerous to have them around the pack. The only persons who were there when the change occurred were just the Alpha or the Luna, more than likely just the Alpha but seeing as Ravic is not here I'm going to have to do this.

"Destiny? Honey, where are you?" I called.

I heard hushed sentences.

"Probably after this you can at least court me, try to get me to fall in love with you and then we claim each other; than running away," Destiny said in a small voice to the person I assumed to be her mate.

I looked around the bend and saw them. She was drenched in sweat. She turned to me. Her eyes glowed. I approached her slowly. "Baby, I'm here to help you." I sat down on the small bed that she was on. I looked at her mate and he introduced himself. I shook his hand.

"You must be the Luna/Alpha, Destiny has been telling me so much about," he said. I was observing him to see if I felt anything. He smelt human but there was something off about him. Not the time now to discuss that.

"You must be her mate...."

"Jamie."

"I'm going to connect with her so I can help her through this ok. She's not supposed to be changing now so I don't think her body can manage it." I left out the part about me thinking that it was because of him why she was changing.

" She's going to be fine though right?" I saw the worry and care on his face.

"Yes." I hope.

"Destiny, hold onto my hand ok. I'm going to try and help make the process easier. Just accept your wolf don't block her or fight it cause it will kill you. Your wolf is apart of you, she's not a monster." I held her hand and let the process begin.

Her stomach suddenly cramped. With a small gasp she rolled away from Jamie and more towards me. He put his face on her, feeling her muscle cramping. She cringed and pushed his arm away.

"Your hand feels too heavy. And its hot in here. Maybe you should open a door and let some air in."

Ok, Step 1 hysterics. "Destiny, we're in a cavern. What you're feeling are the effects of the change. I want you to stay merged with me at all times."

"There's no need for both of us to go through this."

"Its ok baby. You're a sister to me, I can't allow you to die like this."

A blowtorch seemed to flash through her middle, so that she gasped and clutched her stomach. Beads of perspiration dotted her forehead. Jamie looked as though this was paining him as much as it was paining her. He wasn't going to leave her, not even for a moment though. She went to her knees, leaning over the side of the bed vomiting over and over. It was happening fast, almost too fast. He reached for her but the convulsions started again. Destiny thrashed out, desperate to ease the pain, her hand collided with him and he flew across the room into a shard and it pierced his shoulder. He cried out. Shit, I couldn't let go of her but I couldn't let him die either. I left my free hand and focused my mind on getting him off. He didn't budge. I will not give up. I was over exerting myself but I couldn't let them die. I pushed beyond my barriers. I saw him move a bit until he was pulled off the shard. Destiny wasn't looking at him she was staring at me. I saw defeat in her eyes. My eyes pleaded with her.

Let go. Let her come out. She heard the words echo in her mind as she convulsed again, as the pain burned through every organ and  into her brain.

She might die, my wolf said

I will not allow it.

If you do not, she will not survive. Can you feel her fighting? She will never accept what is happening.

I don't know how to help her. I felt hopeless.

I do, let her come out, my wolf said confidently.

Her wolf was pushing against her human side and fighting to get out. I pushed myself into her mind fully and gained control. It was only then that she forced herself to let go, even though the sensation was much worse; she couldn't cling to anything, had no anchor to hold on to. She heard her desperate scream, and then I was there in her mind calming her, whispering to her. my wolf was ther as well murmuring reassurances.

The pain eased and became distant, although she could feel convulsion. Fur spread across her body. Until she was covered in a russet colored fur.

Sabella? She said unsure.

I'm here baby. She turned to her mate on the floor bleeding out and I rushed to him held out my palms and healed him. Ever since I began practicing my healing powers I've been able to do it more effortlessly now. He woke up and looked at her," Destiny?"

She shook her wolfie head. I almost laughed. As I rose to stand up I was uneasy and I slumped to the floor. Sabella, are you ok?

"Something is wrong, Des." I felt a bolt of magic hit the cave and it trembled.

"What's going on?" Jamie asked. I rose again.

"I don't know. Stay here, ok?"

As I walked out I heard Destiny's voice in my ears. Why didn't you tell us you were pregnant?

Shit, I must have put down my barriers too far in order to save her and she found out. Guess, Ravic is going to find out when he comes back. Just a matter of who tells him now.
