L looked at her curiously, and she shifted from one side to the other as far as the cuffs would let her. "What you said was so ridiculous that I can't see how you would spin a lie so intricately." Her [e/c] eyes widened, and she glared. "I'm not lying! I am here to save you. As far as I know, this is some long, crazy dream, and when I wake up I'm going to be snuggling my plushy of you, you idiot!"
"You have a.. Plushy of me?" She blushed, looking down. She squeaked a soft "Yes" and the detective leaned back, running a hand through his messy, soft looking hair. 'I kinda...wanna touch it...' She stared as he returned his attention to her, sticking his thumb into his upper lip the way she drooled over many times before. She smiled softly, finally taking the time to take in his features up close. 'Is this real life,' she wondered, when she was interrupted.
"Please don't stare, Miss [F/n]. You're making me feel uncomfortable." She snapped out of it, noticing that she was, indeed making him uncomfortable. His usually pale cheeks were tinted a soft pink, and he was looking away from her. She smiled broadly, replying, "Ah, so you're a blusher. I never got that kind of vibe from you, Ryuzaki."
"I'm not blushing," he replied in a clipped manner, the pink disappearing. He looked back at you, stating, "You must be some kind of stalker, or someone who is in league with Light Yagami. Tell me what you know."
She sighed sadly, her smile disappearing. "It's bad enough that I told you that he's going to kill you, Ryuzaki. I'm not a stalker, either. Just a fan of yours, that's all. The truth is, I'm not sure how much I can actually tell you without completely screwing up the story."

"The truth is, I'm not sure how much I can actually tell you without completely screwing up the story." The girl in front of me sighed again as I took in her words.
She seemed interesting. At this point, I would probably have to say that she is most definitely not at threat to my well being, even if she's a little ... Odd.
"What do you mean by 'story'," I inquired, cocking my head and leaning closer to her. Her face blew up, and I suppressed the urge to chuckle. [F/n] [L/n]. What an interesting girl.

I felt the blood drain from my face. An anime? We were a part of an ANIME? I felt myself shaking my head a little as she looked down, sheepishly. "I know it's crazy," she said, "but I swear to you on my own life that I wouldn't make this up, no matter how silly or insane it sounds."Normal P.O.V
[F/N] fidgeted nervously under the detective's gaze. 'Man, who knew that he would be even more intense in person....' She jumped when he started to speak. "Alright, Miss [F/N]. I will choose to believe you for now." She brightened, smiling.
"Does that mean you'll take these handcuffs off and feed me?!"
"Well, one of those two things." She frowned a little, looking at the cuffs. This earned a small smile from him. He found himself finding her more interesting each time she opened her mouth.
"You'll have to feed yourself," he muttered, unlocking the handcuffs and sauntering lazily out of the room.
She wandered from the interrogation room into the main room in the task force building, shivering. 'Of course I didn't get any shoes when... Whatever it was that happened happened.' She brightened when she saw Ryuzaki in his chair, re-watching the security tapes of Ray Penber's death. She padded up behind him before spinning his chair around rapidly and embracing him in a tight hug, her chest smushing against his face and earning a soft blush from the usually stoic detective.
"Miss [Y/n], what are you-"
"RYUZAKI! You there! Get away from him! Chief Yagami, the suspect has escaped, and is trying to kill him!" She looked over, annoyed, to see Matsuda pointing a gun at her. She rolled her eyes and said, "Matsuda, stop being so stupid. I'm hugging Ryuzaki, not trying to kill him. Are you touched in the head, or something?" Her statement took Matsuda aback, especially since she knew his name. "O-Oh," he finally muttered, wondering how Ryuzaki got such a pretty girl to hug him in the first place.
"Miss [F/n], this is kind of starting to hurt," Ryuzaki said flatly, and she jumped a little before letting him go. "Ah, I'm sorry," she said, sweatdropping. "I totally didn't mean for it to hurt. I just saw you and I subconsciously..." She blushed, trailing off. Matsuda's eye twitched as Chief Yagami rushed in, shouting, "What is she doing out of interrogation?! Ryuzaki, what is the meaning of this?"
Ryuzaki tilted his head up, saying, "Would you keep it down? There's so much yelling." Chief Yagami looked dumbfounded as he continued, "Anyways, this is Reira Mizushiro, and she will be working with us. I've deemed that she is not a threat, and that she will be useful in taking down Kira."
"Taking down Kira, huh. She doesn't look all that bright," a voice that made [F/n]'s skin crawl when she heard it. She looked to the entrance to HQ to see the person that she loathed most: Light Yagami.
She internally grimaced while trying to keep herself calm. Unfortunately, Misa Amane was stuck to Light's arm like glue. 'Ah, hell. I can't catch a break, can I?'
[F/n] noticed Misa eyeing her, hostility playing across her features. [F/n] sighed, forcing a friendly smile on her face and approached the two of them, hoping she wouldn't vomit from being utterly repulsed.
"Ah, hello," she started," My name is Reira Mizushiro. It's a pleasure to meet you. I heard that you are almost as smart as Ryuzaki, himself, although your judgement of character seems to be severely lacking, Yagami." She smirked at her clever remark, noting the look on Light's face. 'I'll have to draw that one out, if I ever wake up.'L's P.O.V
[Name] actually said that to Light? I felt the urge to chuckle bubble up in my chest, but kept it to myself. She was, indeed, quite clever, by the sound of it. I assume it was because she said she was here to save me while I was interrogating her, but I keep finding myself growing more and more fond of her. Damn it all.
Normal P.O.V
"Well that's rude," Misa chirped, still eyeing [F/n], who chuckled a little and replied, "Yeah? Well, he shouldn't judge based on appearances. I may look odd, but what lies beneath is so much more complex."
It was true. [F/n] would probably look odd to outsiders, who would shake their heads in disgust. For starters, her hair was probably enough to scare off even the most tenacious of suitors. It had been styled into a [h/c], [h/l] mohawk, and a sun design was etched into the buzzed locks on the right side of her head. when she bothered to pull it back or spike it up, it would reveal a moon and stars on the left. Secondly, eyes with tiger-like markings around them had been tattooed onto her chest. She was proud of who she was, and didn't typically care about what others thought about how she looked. Then, there was her flannel-loving, boot cut jean-wearing fashion sense. Today, for example, she was wearing dark blue jeans, a [f/c] and black flannel, which was unbuttoned all the way and revealing a black camisole top. Then, there was her off-putting, somewhat sarcastic personality. That was a whole different story.
Misa stared at [F/n]'s feet, and a disgusted look crossed her angelic features. "Ugh, another shoe freak" [F/n] tensed up. "Like I said, you daft bimbo, what lies beneath is so much more complex. Probably too complex for you to wrap your vapid little mind around, actually. Thinly veiled insults aside, I was wondering, Misa, if I could borrow some clothes and your shower. Today's events have left me in a somewhat compromising situation. Please?"
"Why would I help yo-"
"Because I'm asking nicely?" [F/n] quirked an eyebrow, smirking. Misa went to open her mouth to say something when Light interrupted her, "Misa, why don't you have Reira use your shower. I bet there might also be something of yours she could fit into." [F/n] looked at Light, wondering what he was up to. Like hell she would ever be turned into a drooling slave, like Misa. He was probably pawning Misa off on her to get some peace and quiet. Misa stopped opening her mouth and untangled herself from Light. "If that's what you want, Light, I guess I could help Reira out." She spat the last words, venom dripping from them. 'Reira' smiled as sweetly as she could muster, and muttered, "Thanks, Misa."
