The sun came through the curtains, hitting [F/n] square in the face. It wasn't the most pleasant feeling in the world. She pulled her arm over her eyes before opening them. She sat up in her bed suddenly. 'That's right. Today, we're 'entertaining' for Yotsuba. Ugh, this sucks...' She sighed sadly. L's days were numbered, she knew, but she still had no way of knowing how to save her beloved from the clutches of death.
Suddenly, she remembered the eraser to the Death Note. Not many people knew about this, unless they had read the manga, but there was an eraser that can undo a death inflicted by the Death Note. She grinned, getting up. She finally had a plan. All that was left was to let L and Watari in on it. She walked into the bathroom and looked around. Finally, she pulled the towel rack off the wall, and smashed all the cameras in there. Satisfied, she put the rack down and headed downstairs. 'It isn't ideal, but it'll get them up here quickly.'
She wandered into the headquarters main room, and looked over to Ryuzaki's chair. As per usual, he was sitting with his knees drawn up to his chest with a cookie dangling from his lips. She smiled and walked over to him, throwing her arms around him and saying cheerfully, "Hey Ryuzaki! I think I might have accidentally broken one of the cameras in my bathroom. Could you and Watari come help me and fix them?"
Ryuzaki looked over at her suspiciously, a little annoyed that if he didn't fix them, he wouldn't be able to see her shower. He answered, almost as irritated as he felt, "Now, why would you do that?"
"Well, thhere was this spider, and I guess it moved way too fast for me to kill it," she replied, looking sheepish. He sighed, before removing his cuff and reattaching it to his desk. He called, "I'll be right back." She smiled, satisfied that he wouldn't be taking Light with him. She let go of him when he began to stand, and followed him to the elevator.
"I really hope you didn't break them to get some alone time with me," he said flatly as they waited for Watari to join them. She smiled, replying, "Oh, something like that. It's important, though. Spiders are gross." Watari joined them, stating, "Miss Mizushiro! You must have hit those cameras quite hard to actually break them. She fidgeted under his stern gaze, squeaking, "Heh, I guess I don't know my own strength."
They all rode up in silence, with Watari standing between Reira and Ryuzaki, who looked particularly annoyed. She glanced over at him, smiling nervously. She had hoped they would listen to her plan with open minds.
When they reached the bathroom, she closed the door, surprising the two men. "Okay, so, I have a plan to save you, now," she started carefully, " The thing here is I really need you two need to keep open minds." Ryuzaki looked over at her, questioningly. "Ever since I met you, I've learned keeping an open mind is often best."
L's P.O.V
Watari and I listened intently to [Name]. She was speaking of Shinigami, and a notebook that kills people if their name is written in it. Hoestly, it wasn't making much sense. She then mentioned that a shinigami carries an eraser,so one may be able to reverse the effects of the notebook.
"See, the plan is for you two to technically 'die'. I'll later sneak in before they preform an autopsy and erase your names from the notebook. It'll be a cake walk!" She looked pleased with herself. I cocked my head at her. I loved her to death, but it was insane for her to actually want Watari and myself to do such an insane thing.
"Well, it's a plan, for sure," I started, and she looked at me. I could tell that this plan was paining her as much as it did me. "Now, it isn't a very good plan, but if it comes to it, I know you'll be able to do it. I doubt that Watari wants to die, and I certainly don't, but... I'll put my faith in you." Her face brightened a little. "You won't be disappointed, L. I promise." She leaned in to kiss me, but she stopped when she noticed Watari eyeing us.
"Well, that's all fine and good," Watari started, smiling a little bit. "It looks like [F/n] has thought of a viable solution to our problems." She smiled even broader and hugged Watari, who seemed as shocked as I was. Usually, I was the only one to receive her affections. She smiled over at me before grabbing my hand and pulling me into the hug. "Thank you for having faith in me, you guys." I felt my heart skip a beat, and nodded.
Normal P.O.V
As they exited the bathroom, Reira said, "I really am sorry about the cameras, Ryuzaki! That spider was just so gross!" Ryuzaki sighed, replying monotonously, "Yeah it's fine. Just don't do it again." She frowned. "I won't. I swear it was a one-time thing!" Watari laughed a little. "I'll be sure to replace your cameras, Miss Mizushiro. Ryuzaki does seem to enjoy being able to watch you." Ryuzaki cast a horrified look as Reira's jaw dropped. "Ryuzaki... You," she started, and he flinched, terrified to hear what she was going to say. Instead, he found her wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him into a hug and whispering affectionately, "Pervert." Watari smirked as Ryuzaki squirmed in her hug. Finally, she let go, laughing a little. "Alright. I have to get ready for the plan tonight. Off with you!"

Reira frowned at the ridiculous outfit that she had to wear. It was so much more revealing than the outfit that Misa had forced her to wear when she first arrived. the powder blue crop top had a heart cut into it, exposing way too much cleavage, and the matching micro mini skirt felt like it was going to ride up over her ass. "Ah hell," she muttered, shaking her head. This wasn't going to be fun. She looked over her hair and makeup, which she had learned to perfect by herself. She gave herself another look over, and walked out of her room, right into Ryuzaki.
She almost fell backwards when he caught her, his arms wrapping around her waist. She looked up at him, blushing. "Ryuzaki, what-" Before she could ask him what he was doing there, Light's obnoxious voice interrupted, "Reira, is that what they're making you wear? Pfft, it looks ridiculous on you." She glared at him, and he continued, "Anyways, Ryuzaki wanted to make sure you were ready for the plan. It's almost time for the men from Yotsuba to get here."
Reira nodded, replying, "I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Oh, by the way, your girlfriend is wearing pretty much the same 'ridiculous' thing, just an fyi. If you cross me, I'll tell her that you said these were so ridiculous." She smirked at the scowl that formed across his face, sticking her tongue out. Unfortunately, she noticed Ryuzaki hadn't let go of her, yet. She looked at him, to see he was staring at the cutout piece, his eyes wide. She sighed, adding, "I guess that not everyone thinks it's ridiculous, now do they?"
Ryuzaki suddenly leaned closer to her, his lips brushing her ear. She blushed intensely, making Light turn away in embarrassment. Ryuzaki whispered, "Be careful, and try not to let those men touch you, if you can help it." She nodded, her blush intensifying. He finally let go, and she sighed contentedly. She kissed his cheek and replied, "I'll be careful. I promise." She then added, "I'll make sure Misa is safe, too." Light shrugged nonchalantly, replying, "Jut let her do her job, Reira. She'll be fine."

Things were going according to plan. Matsuda had just gone over the edge of the balcony, and Reira let out the most horrified scream she could muster. The girls all panicked, and Misa assured the men that they would take care of it. She watched out of the corner of her eye and watched Higuchi smile as they left the room. She then stepped outside to watch them leave. The girls quietly left, and soon it was just Reira and Misa. Reira called over her shoulder, "We actually make a pretty good team, Misa. That went over pretty well, I think."
Once she was sure they had left, she looked down to the balcony below them. "Hey, is everyone alright down there?" She waited a moment until Matsuda called back, "A little shaken, but alright." She smiled, replying, "That's good. Now, let's get the hell out of here. These clothes are awful."
When they went to the main room, Reira covered herself instinctively. She had left a blanket down here somewhere, but she couldn't seem to find it. She searched around, becoming irritated. She sighed when something soft covered her from behind. She turned, seeing Ryuzaki draping the blanket that she had been looking for over her shoulders. She smiled, and uttered a quiet, "Thanks."
When she saw Ryuzaki going to sit down in his chair, she pulled hers up and sat next to him. "Well, that was horrible. Let's never do it again, huh?" She grinned at him, which earned her a stare from the rest of the task force. She looked back, feeling the stares and snapping, "What? It's great that nobody got hurt, but those guys were scary and gross!"
The next few weeks went by in a blur, and soon they had figured out Higuchi was acting as Kira. Reira sighed, knowing the time for her plan was coming. It was heart-wrenching, but she knew she would succeed.
