Beth's POV

It's a fire drill

"Come on I know where to go" Ashton said

I took his hand and saw a slight blush

"This way" he led me to a field where heaps of people were, when I saw Imogen run out

"BEEEETTTTHHHH! OMG THANK GOD YOU'RE ALRIGHT!!!!! AND YOU ASHTON!!!!" She screamed

"It's just a drill ri...." Ashton started but got cut off

What was with everyone getting cut off from their sentences today

"No uhm there was a fire bomb in the science lab, a mixture gone wrong" she said

"Who?" Was all I managed to say, I was shocked

"Some new student, Liam" she said

Suddenly I looked down and saw I was squeezing Ashton's hand still

"Oh sorry" I said so sure I was blushing

"Alright" he winked

"So about the movies?" I asked and Imogen sped walked off again

That girl could be a professional

"Well why don't just you and me go, to get to know each other and stuff..." He said

"Ok, I'll just cancel my other plans. IMOGEN WE'RE NOT GOING TO THE MOVIES, KITTENS" I shouted at her from across the field laughing at our inside joke

*flashback*

In some class

"You know what, we should have a code name for if we want to cancel something and it has a hidden meaning but we can't say it in front of the people we are with and we will tell them that something later" Imogen blurted out obviously thinking about cancelling something

"Kittens, they are cute and just nobody questions kittens" I said

"Ok well, for tonight kittens"

"Ohhh" I winked and went back to my work

*normal time*

*last period*

*cooking*

"Are you ready to cook?" Ashton asked as I walked in and put my bag in a cubbie

"Yep" I said

We were making a cake, CHOCOLATE cake

"I'll just wash my hands" I said going over to the sinks

"Ok I've done that so I'll get the ingredients and a bowl" Ashton said going round finding ingredients

*5 minutes later*

"Go away you can't even bake" I said throwing flour at Ashton's face

"Always the immature one" he said grabbing some flour and blowing it at me

"Oh no you didn't" I said grabbing even more flour and throwing it

"Oh yes I did" by then we were just having an all out flour fight

Until the teacher split us up and put us in other groups for the time being

However we kept pulling faces at each other from across the room

"Look at this" I said to Imogen "it's just the perfect slice of chocolate cake" I said hovering it round her face
