Chapter 25

Beth's POV

I woke up to bright lights and everything was white

"Hello?" I called out to the white, my hands felt my clothes "these are not my clothes" I mumbled

"Hello?" I called out again as my vision returned "ouch" I felt my stomach, it hurt

"Beth" a distant voice called out and suddenly I was holding someone's hand

"Ashton?" I asked hoping he would be there, when I tried to remember anything my head hurt

"Yes Beth I'm right here" then suddenly his hand got taken away and I heard voices I didn't recognise

"No help me" I called out and as my vision returned slowly I saw the white room was a hospital room, my clothes felt different cause I was in a hospital gown

"Hello Beth are you ok?" someone asked, she was female

"What am I doing here? Where's Ashton?" I said trying to sit up

"Nononono please don't do that you are still in critical condition" she said trying to put me back down

I breathed out a sigh and lay down while they did different checks on me, I later found out the nurses name was Kelly. Once they had finished checking me she told me I could see visitors but still not to sit up

First one who came in was Imogen and Calum, they were crying their faces off "I'm sorry it's all my fault" Imogen said cuddling Calum but I didn't understand, 'all her fault?'

Next was Luke and Michael, I guessed you had to come in two at a time "hey I'm really sorry about last night" Luke said scratching the back of his neck

"What happened?" I asked all I could remember was that we were gonna have a prank war 3 on 3 and it was gonna be awesome

"I'll tell you later" he said hugging me and leaving

"Beth I'm sorry" Michael said hugging me before leaving me alone again

I guess Ashton wasn't here but I swear I heard his voice before

Then he walked through the door, though he looked like a wreck he still managed to look sexy....who said that?

"Hey are you ok?" he asked sitting next to me and holding my hand

"Yea I just don't remember anything, the last memory I have is settling the prank war with you me and Luke, then they're all saying sorry. I just don't get it!" I was really worried and scared

"We will tell you later, right now it's complicated, you rest now" he kissed my forehead and walked out the door

With nothing else to do I shut my eyes and went to sleep

When I woke up I saw the blue uniform of a policeman

"Hello Beth my name is constable Chris and I'm here to ask you a couple if questions about yesterday" he sat down in the chair next to me and flipped out a notepad

"Ok so what about yesterday?" I asked still unsure

"Firstly we found traces if alcohol and drugs in your system" he said slowly "how old are you and can you tell me about that?"

"Well I'm 18 it's my last year at school and I know about the alcohol and drugs cause I was at a party ya know anything could happen someone probably put something in my drink"

"Mmmhmmm and where was this party?" he said jotting down notes

"Ahh can't remember" I said faking it cause I didn't want Tiffany to get in trouble

"Ok now do you remember anything about the 3 men who stabbed you?" he asked

"No, did someone stab me?" I then moved a little bits and my stomach hurt again, maybe I was hungry or that's where I got stabbed

"Yes 3 men according to Bill"

"Really when was I with him?" I was getting really confused by this point

"When you fainted after getting stabbed you hit your head and that's why you are suffering memory loss" the policeman explained "thank you for your time call me if you remember anything" he flicked me a card and walked out
