She woke up in the next morning; saw the sun's ray came from the window, where it's crossing the curtain. She turned her body slowly to the other side of the bed while extending her left hand to feel her husband who was sleeping besides her. She was smiling, but soon her smile vanished as her husband wasn't there, she sat in the bed slowly and turned her head everywhere to see if was in the room, but he wasn't there
She stood up from the bed and took her robe from a small sofa was in the room, she wore the robe and moved out the room and down the stairs. Before she reached the floor, she heard the sound of her husband and Pedro talking in the living room. She lowered herself in the stair to hear them
"I started my searches yesterday after I dropped you here; I called some friends of mine. They searched the area around the university but they didn't found her anywhere" Pedro said
Victoria covered her mouth with her palm to stop her gasp
"But lucky for us, I found another thing, do you remember the crime scene in the coffee shop we passed by yesterday, the one that was near the college?" Pedro asked
"Yes?" William answered
"There was a camera on the street filming the outside of the shop" Pedro said as he raised his hand with a CD
Victoria couldn't stop herself from going down there to participate in the conversation
"What's in it?" she asked as she entered the room with worry face
"Victoria! What's woke you up?" William asked and he approached her
"Pedro, what's in the tape?" she asked this time with a seriousness
Pedro didn't know what to do but looking to his friend to see what he will say
"Okay, play the CD" William decided as he knows how stubborn person his wife is
Pedro walked to the TV and put the CD in the CD player and then moved back. He took the remote control and speeds the tape; he stopped in a certain scene
"You see this? This's a two days before Diana kidnapped…" Pedro said
"The tape recorded two men entering the shop peacefully" he said and pointed to the two men in the screen
"But those men didn't come out after they got in neither the shop employee and the shop closed after them … so they are the suspects" he said and turned to William who's nodded in agree
"In the next day in the morning, Diana entered the shop at 7:30 am. She left after that to the college" he said as they saw Diana in the screen
"In 12:00 pm she came in again but this time with her friends" he said as they saw Diana and her friends laughing and entering the shop
"This is Carmen here" Victoria exclaimed while she pointed to a girl that was there besides Diana
"You know how to reach her? That would be good. She can tell us what she saw back there"
"Yeah, I think we can" William said
"Then here…" Pedro said as he replayed the tape again "it's 8:45 am, she was late as William told me"
"Yeah… she was, she rushed to the college, because her phone alarm didn’t rang somehow" Victoria said as she was struggling her tears
William put his hand in hers and crossed his fingers with hers to soothe her
"Okay here is the employee was outside, but appeared to me he is not the shop real employee. He is one of the men that entering the shop before" Pedro clarified
