Lucas took the last sip of the wine and put the glass on the table and the sound of ice crackling in the glass
"Thanks for the meal" he said and stretched on the chair with happiness 'cause he was full
"No problem, and here is the soup" she said to him and took a bowl from a drawer and filled it with the soup and put it with a spoon on a tray
"Let me take this to her room" Lucas said as he stood up
"So you will act as a gentle man to convince me that you are not a murderer ha?" Jennie said mockingly with one brow up and leaning on the counter behind her
"At least you're goanna believe" he said sarcastically
"Oh than let me tell you that this tricks is not goanna pass me" she said in sneer while she picking up the plates from the table
"I'll wash the dishes and come after you" she added as she put the plates on the sink
"OK" he said and walked to the room where Diana was and entered it quietly
Diana was sleep peacefully, he thought that it won't be a good idea to woke her up
He took a step back to be out the room and tells Jennie "She is sleeping, can't we just let her sleep now?" he asked her
"When was the last time she ate?" she asked him while cleaning the dishes
"Yesterday… I think" he said while he rolled his eyes to the upper left side to remember
"You have to wake her up to eat, the medicine will not do its effect well without food" she told him
"Okay, I will wake her then" he said and entered the room again
He sat on the bed edge close to her and put his hand on her not injured arm and shake it softly while calling her name "Hay, Diana… wake up… Diana"
She opened her eyes softly and when she saw him she gasping from panic and widened her eyes, she pushed his hand way and tried to sit but away from him
"Don't panic, I will not harm you, I'm helping you now" he said and tried to hold her to soothe her
"D… don't touch me!" she snapped terrifyingly
Lucas raised his both hands in front of her to tells her that he won't do anything and moved away from her
"Okay… okay, just calm down"
"Where am I? Where did you take me?!" she snapped
Lucas was confused and didn't know what to do to calm her down
"It's alright Diana, he took you to my house, I am a doctor and I'm treating you" Jennie said after she entered the room and Lucas turned to her
"Treat me? Why? I'm not sick" she said and pulled the blanket off her
Jennie approached her and hold her "Sit, don't move, you can't move now"
"Let me go! I'm okay!" Diana said in weird sound while looking at Lucas with fear
Jennie noticed her looking and turned to Lucas "Can you leave us for a while?" she asked nicely and nodded for him to tell him that's it's alright
"Sure" she said and left the room
Diana seemed to be relaxed now
"It's okay, I'm with you. I'll not let anyone hurt you, but you have to eat this first" she said to soothe her and Diana nodded to her multiple times as she was confused
