"So you said you moved from the DC week ago, right Diana?" a girl said
"Yeah, my father liked to change suddenly. By the way, thank you for helping me in that class Carmen" Diana said with a soft smile
"Sure no problem, you are so sweet. I have to introduce you to Samantha and the other girls they will like you" Carmen said with a big smile
"That will be great" Diana said as she was happy, she didn't expect to make a friend so fast
Carmen was a sweet girl who's considered to be adorable and very friendly by her department
A group of boys went down the stair and they were carrying their sport bags, moving where the university's field is located
One of the boys was looking where Carmen and Diana were; he said something to his friends and headed to them
His friend started to cheer for him after he left them
When he reached the two girls "Those bastard, what's wrong with them" he exasperated and looked at Carmen
"Hello Carmen, how are you?" he said with a big smile and hugged her
"Hi Paul, it has been a while since I saw you" she said with happiness and then pulled a way
"So you are in the team this year too" she asked and raised her left brow
"Yeah, the championship is for us this year" he said with a big smile
"We will see" Carmen said mockingly
Paul turned to Diana and looked to her with impression
"Who is your friend?" he asked Carmen with trance as his eyes still on Diana
Carmen gazed him with queerness "Oh, she is Diana Owens my new friend. She just moved here recently from Washington" she said as she tell gazing him with that look
"Nice to meet you… Diana. I'm Paul Hadley, Carmen's childhood friend. Welcome to Tuscaloosa" he said in crush without moving is eyes away from hers, he extended his hand to shakes hers
Diana looked to Carmen before she answered "Nice to meet you too" she grabbed his hand and shook it
"Sorry Paul we kind of late on the girls, they're waiting" Carmen interrupted them
"Ok, me too I have to practice. See you soon" he said to them but his eyes was still on Diana
And then he left
"Is he's your boyfr…" Diana tended to ask Carmen
"No! He is just an old friend of mine" Carmen interrupted her with fake smile
"Okay" she said that and turned her head to see him again and saw that he does as will, they smiled at each other before the moved away
"Happy birthday!" Diana said when the door was opened and a medium size gift box between her hands
"Diana! You made it! I'm glad you did" Carmen said after she opened the door of her house and saw her Diana coming to her birthday party, she took the gift from Diana
"Yeah, my parents finally agreed" she sighed with happiness and hugged her, when they pulled away Carmen looked at her from the top to the bottom
"Wow, you look hot. I really don't believe that you don't have a boyfriend till now" she said in impressive
Diana laughed in embarrassment "Who knows may be she will very soon" Paul said as he came to them and looked to Diana with amazement
