Spiderman the new Avenger

Chapter 2

Pietro Maximoff POV

I headed towards Tony's office in the Avengers tower since he requested all of us unexpectedly. I couldn't find Wanda so I assumed she is already there.

As I turned the corner I bumped into Loki. "Sorry man." I told him. He looked at me and smiled. "No problem. You don't happen to be heading to Stark's office are you?" Loki asked me.

I laughed and he sent me a death glare. "You're lost aren't you?" I said and he sighed. "Is it that obvious?" He questioned me.

I stopped laughing. "Follow me. I'm going there anyways." I told him. He nodded his head and followed me.

We talked all the way there giving out ideas what Tony wants. With our luck he's probably drunk and called us to make a fool of himself. We laughed all the way there.

We stopped laughing as we stood in front of the door. We looked at each other and Loki opened the door. He walked in with me behind him and I shut the door behind us.

I looked around the room and saw everyone sitting in chairs and Fury standing at the end of the table. "Took you long enough. I got in trouble by Mama Fury." Tony whined.

"Shut it Stark..." Fury started to say before Tony cut him off. "I know already, you'll throw me out the window of MY building." Tony mocked.

Fury started to walk towards Tony before Loki lifted up his hands and a green wall separated the two. "What is it you wanted Fury? I would like to get back to my chambers even though I'd love to see Tony get his ass kicked." Loki said as everyone whined, not being able to see Tony get his ass kicked.

Nick looked at Loki as Loki put down the wall. "I have taken interest in the person who calls himself Spiderman. He may or may not be a threat. The thing is nobody seems to know who he is. I want to recruit him so he could help you guys." Fury informed us.

We all nodded. I looked out the window and saw a person in a red and blue costume sitting on top a nearby building.

"That doesn't happen to be the person you're talking about is it?" I asked as I pointed to the figure on the building.

Fury looked at the person and then looked at us. "Avengers suit up and go catch yourself a spider." Fury barks orders at us as he walks out of the office.

Peter POV

I sat on the building staring at all the people walking around the streets of New York.

I can't believe how much I missed this. Gwen was right. These people need me. Moving on may be a harder task but I will do it for Gwen.

I was pulled from my thoughts as I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and saw a man with white hair.

Oh great it's Quicksilver. I saw Tony Stark and Thor land by him. I stood up and started walking to the edge. "Oh look at the time. I'm sorry fellas but I really have to go." I said. "Where do you think you're going." Tony asked as he slowly walked towards me.

Before they could argue I jumped from the building. I placed my hand out and shot a web and swung myself from building after building.

I was about to swing to another building before I felt a pain in my stomach causing me to fall.

I was gonna yell but nothing came out of my mouth. My body slammed against the roof of a building and I groaned in pain. I slowly sat up and saw all the Avengers walking towards me except Dr. Banner. He didn't seem to be around.

Captain walked up to me and held his hand out. I ignored his offer and stood up on my own. "Sorry didn't mean to hit you with my shield. It was the only way to stop you though." Captain apologized.

"What do you guys want?" I asked as I placed a hand on my stomach. "We are you to recruit you as a new avenger." Tony said.

"Let me think about it. Um, no thank you." I told them.

I looked at Loki and at Scarlet Witch and saw them staring at me as if they were concentrated on something.

I felt a horrible pain in my head and I grabbed it with my hands. I felt two presences in my head. It had to be Loki and Scarlet since they could read minds.

I yelled in pain as I felt like my head was exploding. "Get out of my head!" I screamed in pain.

The pain was unbearable and they didn't seem to listen. Everyone stared at me then back at their teammates.

I need to get them out of my head. I removed my hands from my head and shot webs at everyone. They yelled in frustration and I jumped from the building.

I swung into an alley not too far from the avengers. I looked around the alley for my backpack. I took off my costume and put on my jeans with a black hoodie. I slipped my backpack on and walked out the alley. I looked at the top of the building and saw the avengers staring at each other. I couldn't help but over hear their conversation.

"What the hell was that Loki and Wanda!" I heard a man say with a Russian accent. "That man, I can't read his mind. It's like it blocked from me." Loki replied. "Same here." Wanda said. "Whatever I need to get back to the tower because I'm going to go get my new intern since it said in the papers that I had to do so today." Tony said before flying off.

I smirked. I feel bad for that person. I started walking home.
