Peter POV

I walked into the house holding a bouquet of roses. I heard Aunt May in the kitchen talking to someone. I raised an eyebrow and slowly walked to the kitchen. Aunt May rarely has guest over.

When I walked into my kitchen my eyes widen in shock. Tony Stark is standing in my kitchen talking to Aunt May.

Aunt May saw me and smiled. "There he is, where were you Peter?" She asked me. I looked at the two before walking over to Aunt May. "I went to Gwen's grave." I told her. I handed her the roses. "I got these for you."

She gave me a sad smiles and took the roses. "Thank you Peter. Oh, um, you have a guest." She referred to Tony. I looked at him confused. Did he find out I was Spiderman?!

"I'm here for the intern paper I received from you, you got the job." He told me. I looked at Aunt May and Tony confused. "I never turned one in..."

Aunt May looked at me and sighed. "Before Gwen died, she filled out that paper for you. She said you wouldn't stop talking about, how you wanted the job so bad. She turned it in for you and well, you got the job." I looked between the two with tears in my eyes. "I'll go pack up my things." I muttered before running to my room.

I opened he door and closed it behind me, locking it. A few tears fell down my face and I took my backpack off and placed it on the bed.

I walked to my closet and grabbed some clothes. I sighed. Why would Gwen do something like that? I shook my head and went to my bed, opening up my backpack.

The tears stopped falling and a smirk replaced them. They'll never think that I'm Spiderman. This may be my advantage, getting to know them before maybe, just maybe, joining them.

I placed my clothes on top of my costume. I looked for my phone, the charger, and my ear buds, placing them in my pockets. I sling the backpack on my back and make my way downstairs.

I saw Tony standing by the counter waiting for me. I walked over to Aunt May and pull her into a hug. "Have fun and be careful." She told me, kissing my head. "I will, I promise." I assured her.

Tony looked at me. "You ready kid?" He asked. I nodded and walked out of the house with Tony following close behind me.

Tony closed the door behind him and followed me. "My car's over there." He told me. I looked to my side and saw a red sports car. My mouth hung open before I rushed over to it.

Tony chuckled at my reaction before walking over to his side and unlocking it. "Do you like it?" He asked. I nodded, absolutely speechless.

Tony opened his door and got inside closing the door. I get in my side as well and buckled up. Tony started the car and I smiled. "Let's head to the Avengers tower." Tony said. I smiled before Tony started driving off.

I looked out the window, watching my house disappear from view. I sighed. "You'll love it at the tower." Tony tried to assure me.

I nodded and sighed. Tony looked at me before turning on his radio. A Panic! At the Disco song was blaring over the radio.

Oh,
Well imagine,
As I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor,
And I can't help but to hear,
No, I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words:
"What a beautiful wedding! What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter,
"And, yes, but what a shame, what a shame the poor groom's bride is a whore."

I chime in with a
"Haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things
With a sense of poise and rationality.
I chime in,
"Haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things
With a sense of...

Well in fact,
Well I'll look at it this way,
I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast
So, pour the champagne
Oh! Well in fact,
Well I'll look at it this way,
I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast,
So, pour the champagne, pour the champagne

I chime in with a

No, it's much better to face these kinds of things
With a sense of poise and rationality.
I'd chime in,
"Haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things
With a sense of poise and rationality again.

Tony turned off the radio and parked the car by the tower. I got out of the car and waited patiently for Tony to get out and lock the doors.

Tony looked at me and smirked before walking into the tower. "Hello Mr. Stark, I see you have brought Mr. Parker as well." I looked up, trying to find the robotic voice.

"Yes Jarvis, where are the others?" He asked. "They are on the twelfth floor." Tony nodded and walked over to the elevator and I followed behind him.

Once I am inside the elevator, the doors closed and Tony pushed the twelfth button.

Tony looked at me. "You don't talk much do you? I would've expected you to talk nonstop." He asked. I chuckled. "I talk, just not when I'm nervous. Eventually, you will never get me to shut up." I joked. He chuckled. "You and I will get along just fine." Tony smiled.

I smiled back at him. The doors opened and I was staring at everyone on the team from the Avengers. They were all in normal clothing, including Thor and Loki. They all seemed friendly but intimidating at the same time.

"Hey." I muttered and offered an awkward wave.
