Funeral

~Caution: its gonna be short and its gonna be depressing! Lots of tears to the adorable little Ember! :(

~Willow's POV~

After the party I walked around Magnolia. I decided to go and see the Cherry Blossom trees. I heard they were absolutly stunning. As I was walking, I noticed that the air smelled funny. Kinda like sulphur or...blood. My eyes widened and I looked around. My eyes stopped dead once I looked at the biggest tree. There at the bottom, was a pool of blood. At the center...was....was.....
"EMBER!!!!!!!"
I screamed as I rushed towards him. My hands hovered shakily over his cold body. I picked him up and started to cry.
"No," I wispered.
My voice was shaky as I struggled to keep my self sane. Tears suddenly streamed down my face.
"EMBER!!!!!!!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
I wailed and whined and sobbed. Until somebody came down and seemed shocked. They saw my guild mark and rushed away. I screamed again and again. My throught becomeing raw. My best friend...was dead.

~Topaz's POV~

I helped the guild clean up. It took us forever, but it was actually just a few minutes after Willow left. I was just about to leave when someone ran in through the open doors.
"Um, can we help you?" Master asked the panting boy.
"There's a girl by the Cherry Blossom tree. She's from your guild and she's crying. She's holding a bloody animal and she seems extremely upset."
'Please,' I thought as I bolted out the doors. 'Please don't let it be her.'
I skidded to a stop once I reached the tree and saw Willow surrounded by a ton of people. I pushed through them and sat in front of her. She was crying and using her magic on Ember's lifeless body.
"Will," I began but I was cut off by her screaming.
"You aren't dead! You hear me! Your not dead!"
Her hands were shaking violently and she was hiperventalating(I spelt it wrong). At that moment the entire guild arrived, replacing the crowd.
"DAMMIT EMBER!!!!! YOUR NOT DEAD!!!!! YOUR MY BEST FRIEND! YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE ME!!!!!!!!"
"No," Carla gasped and broke into tears.
The entire guild began crying. Wendy suddenly plopped down in front of Will and started helping her heal him.
"I won't believe he's gone." She said.
Which just made Will cry harder. For about an hour Will and Wendy sat there, trying to bring back Ember. Wendy had stopped long ago, bit knowing Willow. She'll never stop until she was dead too.
"Willow?" I touched her shoulder.
She slapped my hand off her shoulder.
"He's not dead," she choked.
"Will."
"He can't be dead! He's to strong to just..."
I hugged her from behind. She screamed at me to let her go and let her do this.
"It should be me, this should be me. HE WOULDN'T BE DEAD IF I HADN'T LET HIM GO HOME ALONE!!!!!!!!!"
"Topaz," Master sniffed. "Take her back home.''
I nodded and tried to take her arms off of Ember, but she wouldn't budge. It literally took half the guild to take her arms off of Ember. Wendy cradled Ember's cold body, tears running down her face.
"NO! LET ME GO!!! EMBER!!!!!!" Willow screamed and tried to get out of my grip.
I twisted her around so tat she was facing me and not her dead companion.
"HE'S NOT DEAD!!!"
She screamed over and over again. Slamming her fists into my chest. Her punches slowed and she just sobbed into my chest.
"He...he...can't be dead..."
"Not as long as we still remember him he won't be."
I said before I broke down into tears.

~Timeskip to funeral~
~Willow's POV~

Everyone had just finished saying their goodbyes. I stared at my best friends coffin. I watched as they buried him. I stood there, tears streaming down my face. Everyone left, one by one. I was the only one left. It started raining. I cried even harder and I threw myself over his tombstone.
"Why? Why'd it have to be you?" I chocked on my words.
I cried and cried, until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked back and saw Topaz in a black tux. I hugged him and buried my face into his chest.
"Come on, let's go home."
I nodded and let him lead me away from my best friends grave. If I stayed much longer I would probably end up joining him.
