Chapter 5: Discovery
The cafetria was starting to empty out. There was a ten minute break before we had to go class. Casey and Scarlet were still talking. I looked over at Sakura. She seemed to have gotten someone. I looked around for Tat, but he wasn't in there.
"You looking for someone?" Takeshi asked.
"Yeah. Where did Tat go? We all promised to meet after lunch."
He looked confused and glanced around the cafeteria. "I don't know. Last I saw of him, he was walking to a table."
"I say we look for him."
"Okay."
"Hey, guys." I said to Scarlet and Casey. "We are going to look for someone. Go ahead to class. Meet us after school." They nodded and got up. I walked out the doors, and Takeshi stayed in the cafeteria. I walked around and discovered a garden. Or, it seemed like one. There was a lot of hanging moss, and there was something behind it. I moved over the moss, and saw a little dead-end corner.
And in it was Tatsuo with some girl. And they were kissing. And touching. I didn't want to see it, but my legs wouldn't move. I coughed, hoping they would stop. They both looked up. The girl had short black hair, with bangs. She had glasses on. She blushed.
"Sorry to intrude on the two of you, but did you forget we were supposed to meet up?" I said. Tat smiled and looked a the girl.
"Ana, this is Yuzuki. Yuzuki, Ana."
"Oh, this is Yuzuki?" Ana said. I was surprised I had been mentioned, or at least to the point where I was pointed out. "I am so happy to meet you!" She said. I could tell she was faking the excitement.
"Yeah, it's nice to meet you too." I said cautiously. I looked at Tat. "Anyways, since you are so forgetful, we are meeting after school. Do not forget. Or else I will deal with the girl." I said. I walked away, and heard giggling and kissing sounds.
I walked into the cafeteria, immediatley greeted by Takeshi. "Did you find him?" He said.
"Yeah I found him. He was having a lot of fun with his Chosen One."
"Fun? You don't mean..." I nodded. "That's, uh, nice. You told him to meet us after school, right?"
"Yeah. You told Sakura right?"
"Yes I did." We talked for another minute, then we left. Classes were pretty silent. It was only the second day, so we were still doing introductions. After school was over, I walked outside. Scarlet and Casey were already there. After a little while, we were all there.
"Okay, let's start with introductions. I'm Tatsuo. Tat for short." Tat said. He looked over at Ana, who blushed.
"I'm Ana." She said.
"I'm Sakura. You could also call me Kura."
"I'm Kaiden."
"I'm Takeshi."
"I'm Casey."
"I'm Yuzuki."
"I'm Scarlet."
After that we all started talking. Some asking questions, some talking to each other. I walked over to Ana.
"You seemed to have been having a good time during lunch." I said. I must have startled her, because she jumped.
"Yeah. Tat is really nice." She smiled. I smiled back.
"Don't get to close to him. He tends to push you away if you do." I said, remembering this morning.
"Did you try and get close?"
"No. But he still pushes you away."
"Oh. Okay." She said. I walked away. We talked for a few hours. It started to get dark. I looked up and suddenly passed out. I fell to the ground.
I saw blackness, when, suddenly, a figure appeared in it. She had blue skin, eyes, clothes. She opened her mouth to speak.
Yuzuki. I am the moon. I have brought you a message that you must pass on. My power is low. I need more Silvers. The war is coming soon. You must send a message to your Doyen. He must know this. Also, tell him it is time. He must tell you the full truth as soon as possible. Pass the message on to your group. Be sure to tell the new ones. Now you must wake up. They will be worrying. You have been asleep for two hours now. Time flies by with the moon.
She snapped her fingers. I gasped, waking up. I blinked a few times before I could see. I was in my bed. Everybody was in my room sitting there, some asleep, some awake. Nozomi was sitting next to my beat-up mattress on the floor. She had looked over at me.
"Guys! Guys! She is awake!" She half-yelled, half-whispered. The ones awake looked over. Sakura, Scarlett, and the guy named Kaiden was awake. Sakura ran over to the bed.
"Are you okay? You passed out. We freaked out, but Kaiden had the sense to pick you up and bring you here." She said
"I'm fine. A little dizzy, but I'm fine. Wake everbody up. I have to tell you all something."
She looked worried. "Do you want me to tell the new ones to leave?" She said, sensing it was important.
"No. They have to stay." I said. She nodded and went to wake everybody up. I looked over at Kaiden and locked eyes with him. "Thanks." I said. He just nodded and looked away.
Once everybody had gotten up, I started to tell what I had to.
"The moon spoke to me when I passed out. She said the war is coming soon. We need to prepare. By the way she sounded, I would say we have only a few months. Maybe a year." I said.
"You don't even know how long we have?" Tatsuo shouted.
"She didn't tell me much! She only told me that the war is coming soon, we need more Silvers, and her power is runnning low. I'm sorry she didn't tell me more!" I yelled.
"Calm down, the two of you! Yuzuki, you said her power is running low?" Sakura said.
"Yes. She absolutely needs more Silvers. I'm guessing her power isn't that low, because she gave to message to me. The war will come soon though. I know that for sure."
"Okay. I have to step out for a minute." Sakura said quickly and left the room.
"Well. We ought to start training them." Takeshi said. He looked over at Nozomi. "Did you find anyone at your school?" She looked dazed.
"What?" She shooke her head as if to clear thoughts out of her head. "I think I saw a couple people, but I couldn't talk to them. Nobody would let me talk. I will go up to them tomorrow."
"Okay. Remember, Zomi, you have to get some. I need you speak up." I said. She nodded. "But Takeshi is right. We need to start training."
"Oh, I don't think so losers. We'll be stopping you guys right here." A guy with golden hair and eyes said as we turned around. There were four guys standing there, all with golden yellow eyes. Golds. They had gotten Sakura, and she was struggling to get out of their grip. Takeshi, Nozomi, Tatsuo, and I looked at each other.
"What the hell is going on?" Casey asked.
"You're about to watch how we fight." I said, standing up. I would beat them. For Kayato.
