I opened the door and stepped inside. It was a large room, it had tall, pillar around the room, a shiny marble-like flooring, a roof made of stained glass and a tall throne at the back.

Atop the throne sat a woman, she looked to be twenty but I could be wrong, who knows any more. She looked tired and bored with her head resting on her hand with her eyes closed as she slouched over. She wore a skin tight suit with a dark green dress dropping from below her neck to her ankles. The rim light shining from behind the planet illuminated the room with a pale white glow.

The woman who brought me here walked up next to me and cleared her throat loudly.

The woman on the throne jolted up and looked at us.

"Ah, Linda, where have you been. I've caught a couple of your 'suitors' in my bedroom earlier. They are currently being publicly flogged but I didn't really want to watch that. And... who's this, another so-called suitor?" Asked the woman.

"My Lady Ruby, this is Lucas Freerite." Said Linda before she stepped back.

Queen Ruby slid down from her throne and grabbed a long silver and black spear and held it up. She tapped it on the ground causing a metallic ring to echo through the room. The tip of the spear split into three parts and extended out and red veins flowed from her hand to the top and bottom of the spear.

"Do you intend to not fight me with a weapon. Very well." Said Ruby.

She pointed the spear at me and the two tips of the spear on the outside started to rotate around the center and arcs of red electricity jumped between the points.

"You'd better run." She said with a smirk.

A beam of red electricity burst out from her spear in my direction. I slid to the side and dodged the blast and rolled over and dodged as she tried to impale me with her spear. I spun on my back like a turtle and shoved her away and rolled to my feet.

She swung and lunged at me repeatedly. She was fast and had nicked me a few times but I managed to dodge in time to avoid a fatal blow.

I rolled aside and heard a pop coming from my knee and stopped in place as Ruby aimed her spear at me and fired the electricity at me. I threw my arms in front of my face and was surprised when I opened my eyes to see Beowulf absorbing the blast as a bracelet. I could almost feel her smirk from here.

She stopped and widened her eyes when she saw me.

"Your father always like the idea of a cowboy and even went as far as to modify Beowulf, though I do admit it is pretty cool." Said my mother's voice.

"Beowulf!" I yelled.

The bracelet morphed into liquid and wrapped around my hands and formed into two revolvers that had an identical pattern to the scythe. I fired rapidly at Ruby as she did a sort of dance as she reflected the projectiles.

I dashed toward her and turned the revolvers back into the scythe and we engaged in a heavy close quarters battle. I swung ferociously and could tell that she was weakening and started to swing harder until she was laying on the ground, struggling to hold her spear against Beowulf.

I knocked her spear out of her hand and held my scythe to her neck. "I win." I stated.

I staggered backwards and fell to the ground as Beowulf wrapped around my arm once more.

"I accept." She stated.

Alice ran over to me and helped me up while Linda did the same to Ruby.

We all went to a room behind the throne that was in a likeness to a common living room.

"You called me here just to fight me?" I asked.
