A Neko among Crows

Chapter 4

Chapter 4:

Kiyoko searched almost every part of the school but still couldn't find Keiko. 'It's not like Keiko can go inside the school since it is lock but she might have gone outside... I better call the guys for help' Kiyoko thought sighing, worried of what could have happened to Keiko.

Meanwhile hidden in the shadows, up at a tree, Keiko is completely unaware of the pending doom awaiting her for she is too deep in thought to notice.

Few minutes ago...

Kiyoko left to look for Keiko and the guys are left to think of what they did wrong. They were clueless of Keiko's past. They didn't know the reason of Keiko's outburst. All they know are stories, rumors from the sport magazines.

"What is it about the past that Keiko-chan doesn't want to talk about?" Hinata asks curious, making the others think about it. 

"She is a volleyball prodigy with a lot of titles and two of those stood out, namely Demon and Monster, probably because she's undefeatable" Tsukishima explained to everyone. She was after all famous.

"She must be pressured on how to keep being unbeatable, right?" Hinata said and everyone thought of their own theories. Ukai then sighs and slap both Tsukishima and Hinata's backs.

"Both of you stop. I'm sure she'll all tell you the reason when she wants to, if Keiko-san heard about you talking about her past behind her back, she'll probably hate you all and won't help you. She does have an IQ of 190 and she can teach you all techniques in volleyball." Ukai scolded them at the same time bribing them.

"An IQ of 190?!" Tanaka, Nishinoya, Hinata, and Kageyama all exclaimed at once. "Didn't you know? It was pretty obvious, seeing as she always rank first in the exams" Yamaguchi said. "Eh? That was her?" Tanaka blurted. "I always thought it was just some girl who is a bookworm and loves studying" Nishinoya added. 

"Who would've thought" the third years all thought the same thing, surprise about the new fact about Keiko. Everyone then became more curious about Keiko, since it seems like there is something deeper than the surface. Sugawara then realized something

"Hey, don't you think Kiyoko-san is kind of late, she should've probably found Keiko by now." He said curious, the others agreed realizing the same thing. Seconds later Kiyoko appeared at the gym without Keiko.

"Have you found Keiko-chan, Kiyoko-senpai?" Hinata asks. Kiyoko shook her head no, making the everyone worried.

"I almost searched everywhere but I can't find her, it's like she disappeared" Kiyoko said murmuring the last part. Everyone can sense that Kiyoko was worried, heck they are all worried. A blood-curling scream was then heard shocking them all out of their wits.

"W-what w-was t-that?"Hinata asks stuttering, he was scared since the scream is too feminine and it might have been Keiko's since it sounded feminine. "That couldn't be..." Tanaka assumed trailing off.

"Keiko-san/chan" Almost all of them exclaimed and head toward the door with one thought, saving her from whatever scared her.

'Oh my Gosh! Please save me whoever is out there I don't want to die...' Keiko thought screaming, she didn't know what actually happen or how it happen but one second she was up in her favorite tree then next she's falling head first to the ground. Too shocked and scared to do anything she remains frozen, and all she remembers was a hand reaching out to her back scaring her.

"Kyaaaa!!!!!!" Keiko kept screaming unaware that something stopped her from dying, it was until then that she felt her body jolting when she open her eyes which she subconsciously closed. She looked around and notice that she was above ground and someone was holding her, but who is it? scanning the body around her she can definitely say it's a guy, a familiar one that is.
