Chapter 9:

Keiko's POV

I was currently here in the station, standing as I wait for the train. I guess all I can really say now is that I'm bored... to death, that I think I'm starting to talk to myself. When is that train gonna arrive? Did I arrived late or early, I don't know... Hmm... I guess for the match I was early, too early, I think but I have someone whom I'm going to visit first before I watch those dorks' game.

I really can't help but say that those boys were interesting, but they are sometimes a bit too nosey for my comfort. Well not just them...

"Attention passengers, the train has now arrived. Thank you for your patience" The intercom said snapping me out of my inner monologue. Glancing at my surrounding I immediately entered the train, 'Phwua~ I really like the feeling of that aircon as it blasts on face as I enter'. Seeing that this is an early hour not much were really in the train and there are still sits available, I just sit wherever not really caring who's beside me... Well if it's a pervert, as long as he won't make a move on me; he's safe, and if he does anyway I'll just beat him up. Do not Underestimate me.

Anyway, as I got bored I looked at my side and saw a light haired guy that seems familiar... "You!! The silent guy! Hiya!" I exclaimed cheerfully, greeting him. We've met several times when in the train, I somehow usually sit beside him since it's kind of always empty; though that could just be a coincidence.

He just nodded, surprised evident in his eyes. I never did get his name though... I examined him, like always since he seems interesting. Looking at his attire his wearing a jersey jacket, but what caught my attention was the logo on the center corner left of his clothing. It says 'Datekougyou High School', now why does that sounds familiar, Dateko... Datek? Date? Teko? What was it again...?

"DATE TECH HIGH!" I suddenly remembers, ooh so this guy is part of the 'iron' wall... Unbeknown to me though is that I said that aloud making silent guy look at me with a 'what-the-what?' look. He then started mumbling, oh shit did I break him?

"Aone... Aone Takanobu" he said looking at me with his hand outstretched for a shake. I don't know what to think or do, did this guy just tell me his name or what? Is that even his name. Well deciding I'll just go by the flow here; I look at him in the eye as I shake his hand, and with a closed-eye smile I said my name. We grip each other's hand firmly, then let go.

"So you play volleyball? If you are I guess my school is going against you guys, then" I said to him. As usual he doesn't speak a word but he did nod, so I'll take it as a yes. "You're not very talkative are you? Hey do you even recognize me, silent-kun? *sigh* I guess it's kinda weird huh? Cuz' since the first time we met I approached you as if we know each other, but I'm nothing but a stranger..." I said, well how would you say this but why do I feel disappointment?

"I remember you... it's just that I don't know what to do..." He suddenly spoke, surprising me. My brain just then registers what he has said, so I come up with the best reply I can. "Ah, is that so? Well to be honest the first reason I talk to you was because I'm bored then since you don't talk much I see you as someone interesting. So it really depends on if you want to entertain me or not. I get that you're a quiet guy, since you don't talk much. So you know no pressure"

Aone just nodded then a comfortable silence fell upon the two of us. I realized that the train slows down as it nears my stop. So looking at Aone I smile at him "Well, this is my stop, see you later Aone. I'll try to talk to again before the matches!" He again just nodded but he did say "bye" to me.

The train stopped and the doors open, I glance at Aone once more waving before exiting. Well it's now time to visit my cousins, since I did ignore one of them yesterday.
