He's Back

JACOB

"Go on! Faster!" I yelled through mind link as I pushed my legs to run faster and faster till my pace became so fast that I wouldn't be visible to humans.

My warriors were behind me, my beta on my left and gamma on my right. Other pack members were running not too far behind them.

I was going to save her. Bring her back. I didn't care if I had to go through hell for doing it. I was going to get her back!I was going to fall to her feet and apologise, over and over again till she would finally forgive me. I would do my best to make her the happiest person on earth.

Sometimes people make such mistakes that can never be forgotten. She is my mate and instead of protecting her I drove her away...
There was a battle inside my mind when I met her. One side wanted to protect her innocence, cherish it and the other side wanted to show its power and dominance by breaking her. The dark side inside me had won when I was with her, and that's what I regret the most. I now wish I could hold her. Cherish her. Protect her...my mate...oh what have I done. She didn't deserve this!

But I've realised my mistake and I am going to get her back!

ALEXANDER

I tore open my wrist and blood flowed down freely. Picking her up gently I pressed her to my front, savouring the feeling of her warm skin against my ice cold one. The gentleness of her skin was enough to drive me crazy . I just wanted to have my way with her, but I couldn't, I could never hurt her. Not just her. Any woman. I couldn't abuse someone or force them.

Just as I was about to touch my wrist to her lips I heard someone calling my name. After a few seconds there was banging on the door.

"Alexander! Come out!" My best friend Jamie shouted.

"I am busy" I shouted back, annoyed.

"Trust me, you wanna come down at this once!" He shouted."The mutts are here!"

Wolves? What are they doing here?

I forcefully pulled away and gently eased her back down on the bed.

"I'll be back, love." I kissed her lightly as I got up and walked towards the door.

I opened it and saw my best friend's face etched with worry but we vampires had very good control of our emotions and almost never let it show on our face.

"They're down in the woods." He didn't have to say more and we both sped towards the woods. In no more than a mere seconds we were in the woods. Dark and deadly, the woods were eerily silent. I heard a snap of a twig as I saw the alpha walking towards us. It was alpha Jacob!

"Alpha Jacob, to what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked in the most polite tone although I wanted kill him for interrupting my sweet time with Alicia.

He growled and shifted back into his human form.

That's what I hate the most about these mutts. Growling like animals and they never have self control. Their emotions always cause trouble for both our woulds.
Also they had no self respect.

"So?..." I tried again. He was testing my paitence!

" I want my mate back!" He growled out, shaking from anger.

"Your mate?" I asked, confused.

"Alicia." As soon as those words left his lips I felt my something in my chest heave slightly.

Alicia was his mate! Oh that sweet innocent girl was mated to this monster, everyone knew how he was! He had no respect for anyone but himself and liked to sleep around at every chance he got. He was a man whore. How could such an angel be mated to a mutt like this?

"I don't know what you're talking about." I lied smoothly.

He growled again.

" Give her back or this means war between the two kingdoms. Don't be fooled. I won't hesitate to start a war!" he yelled.

Jamie twitched slightly at my side.

He knew I had Alicia.

"We'll hand her over." He said. I was shocked and angry at the same time! How could he?

"That's not your decision to make Jamie!" I yelled furiously.

He looked at me with something that resembled pity but there was also something else hidden in his eyes that i could not pin point.

He fled and in mere seconds was back with Alicia in his arms. She looked peaceful like an angel.

I stayed rooted to the ground as I watched him handing her over to Jacob. My mind couldn't process all that was happening.

JACOB

I walked though the forest as this time my pack ran ahead of Me. I had ordered them to give me some alone time with my mate.

I felt a surge of relief go though me as I held my mate closer to chest.

She was here. She was alright.

She snuggled into my chest and I let out a low purr that only I could hear. She's mine. All mine. I am never going to let her leave again. My mate...my sweet innocent Alicia.
The thought of her in that vampires arms gets me so furious and scared!

What If something had happened to her? What would I do?

No! I'll never let her out of my sight again.

I nuzzled into her hair and she stirred a little. Her eyelids fluttered.

"What..." she tried to say but I shut her up with my lips.

I kissed her gently and she responded to my kisses with sweet inexperienced and hesitant kisses of her own., as her hands went to my chest.
As I Was having trouble kissing her like this I put her down and the next second she was pressed against a tree, as I kissed her senseless.

My kisses got urgent but after a while she stooped responding. I felt her slip a little and instantly slid my hands around her to support her weight.

She had fainted in my arms.

Realizations dawned upon me. I shouldn't have kissed her when she obviously was tired and injured.

I picked her up again and planted a kiss on her forehead as I headed back towards home...
