Lunch Time

Alicia’s POV

History class was really enjoyable. We learnt about the Nazis and the World War II.

I specifically loved my History teacher Mrs. Rose Bells.

I really love listening about the old times and I also love researching about them. You can call me a nerd but then again-‘I DON’T CARE!’

The bell rung just when we started discussing about Adolf Hitler. God! I so hate this bell.

It was lunch time.

Oh! I remember I have to go to the canteen. Oliver had invited me to have lunch with him and his friends.

I made my way towards the cafeteria as I counted the classroom doors along the way again. 5…6…there! This was the cafeteria!

I dint even need to make sure because of the amount of noise coming from this door.

I walked in slowly and steadily, not wanting to trip on thrown food.

I heard a voice-“Hey Alicia! We are over here. Wait I am coming there!”

It was Oliver’s voice.

I started walking towards the direction of the voice. I picked up my normal pace and-‘OUCH!’

I had tripped on someone’s foot or that someone had knowingly tripped me.

“Alicia!” I heard Oliver’s scream.

God! Now he must think that I am a freak.

I heard a high pitched laugh.

“Stop laughing Chloe!”Oliver shouted and the laughing stopped.

This must be the same girl from the Lit. Class earlier! I groaned as I tried to sit up but couldn’t because of the pain in my left hand.

I felt arms around my waist as someone muscular picked me up on my feet.

I also heard an inhuman growl or was that my imagination?

Whatever! I shrugged it off.

“Are you alright?” Oliver asked in a concerned voice.

“Yea! I am fine!” I groaned again.

He took my small left hand in his big one.

“I think that it’s broken.” He said urgently. “Let’s get you to the nurse office!”

I nodded even though it wasn’t a question.

He was acting like my dad.

He put his hands around my waist as I heard another growl from someone in the crowd.

Then he led me out of the canteen.

yours,

Jenny.
